  • Very Informative Book

This book was helpful in many ways. It discusses four types of borderline mothers - the waif, the witch, the queen, and the hermit. It helps you understand why you feel the way you do & how to stop the cycle in your own life, or in your dealings with your mother. It is not a "moms are bad" book; it is a book that takes an honest look at what many people went through while growing up or are going through now as a mother. It is a great tool for those who are interested in moving forward & having a real, open relationship with their mother - whether their mother is able to partcipate or not - it is a tool that helps free the child (now adult) from the "fake" relationship, pain, confusion, etc.
