Cheyenne Rogers, played by a very young and handsome Glenn Ford, is an outlaw hired to rob a bank by some greedy townsmen from Red Valley. But, Rogers arrives too late and a gang of thugs beat him to the job killing 3 men in the process. While in town, Rogers meets and falls in love with Allison MacLeod (Evelyn Keyes), a lovely tomboy who wears leather jeans, works in her father's stables, but also cooks and wears pretty dresses. In order to win her affection, Rogers decides to stop running from the law and tries to change his ways. But, when he gets blamed for the town robbery and killings, he turns to his friend,Steve (Randolph Scott), the town sheriff, to find the real culprits and avoid getting hung himself for a crime he didn't commit. No special features on this DVD, but great fight scenes and funny moments (all in technicolor), and an entertaining little western to watch overall.
