I have always wanted this movie! It is great cause it has all the old school tap dancers in here! There is even sammy davis jr.! I think this was his last perfomance on film. He looked about eighty something years old! He is legen. The picture was so clear I felt like I bought it in a store!

  • A movie that needs to be called a "Classic."

This film has been kept back from the public for years. A VCR copy goes for $75.00. Is the movie good? It's what hollywood is remembered for. This is the last movie Sammy Davis made. The old men of tap are without a question the greats caught one last time in a classic "challange" to see just who is the best. From the street cornner of Time Square to the roof top it simply is the best. Invite the friends over if you're over 50, crank up the surround sound and break out the popcorn, a great movie is about to carry you away. Watch the credits at the end of this movie and you will see where Michael Jackson got his moonwalk moves. I'm glad this film made it to DVD. It is a ***** movie. Building Atlanta - Bob.

There is great dancing in this movie, the last amplified bit is amazing, but the "plot" they layered on top of it is pretty silly. As a piece of tap history I would recommend it, and the extras on the DVD are interesting. As a movie for someone who does not love tap I would say take a pass.
