This is a fantastic book and full of great insight for anyone. I have purchased it a number of times as a gift for friends or family in a tough period in their life. It is the one book that sits on my nightstand, other than my Bible. It is worth the full price but nice to get it even cheaper at O. Thanks!

Wow, I have purchased about 10 of these books for friends. Proof that when God speaks, His words go on forever. This book was originally done in the 30's and He had you and me in mind when it was written. If you want to hear Him speak...this is the book for you!

This is a wonderful daily devotional. It has challenged me about how I live for my Savior Jesus Christ. I better understand why Christians suffer and have challenges. It is all part of God's plan to make me a mature Christian. It is part of His plan so that I might have the close relationship with Him that I want. The analogies make me think. For example, "Genuine faith puts its letter in the mailbox and lets go. Distrust, however, holds on to a corner of the envelope and then wonders why the answer never arrives." How many times have I prayed without faith and then wondered why God didn't answer? This is the first daily devotional that I have ever used that I feel compelled to read every day.
