Conservative radio host and syndicated columnist Dennis Prager provides a bold, sweeping look at the future of civilization with Still the Best Hope, and offers a strong, cogent argument for why basic American values must triumph in a dangerously uncertain world. Humanity stands at a crossroads, and the only alternatives to the “American Trinity” of liberty, natural rights, and the melting-pot ideal of national unity are Islamic totalitarianism, European democratic socialism, capitalist dictatorship, or global chaos if we should fail. America is Still the Best Hope, as this eminently sensible, profoundly inspiring volume so powerfully proves.

You're probably not coming to for book reviews, but if you are, then I'll simply say that I wish that every American, or at least every thinking American, would read, ponder, and discuss this book. If widely read, I believe it would rank as one of the most important books of the decade in awakening Americans to the true nature of their legacy, and what they're so quickly and naively forfeiting. The book is the culmination of a lifetime spent understanding and thinking about how to accurately describe leftism. If that sounds dull, think again. Leftism is the most pervasive worldview undergirding just about every unexamined political, economic, social, cultural, moral, and even religious thought most Americans today have. Our news media, entertainment industry, public schools and virtually all of post-secondary education are, consciously or unconsciously, evangelists for this worldview. Prager ably explicates the nature of that worldview and details its pervasiveness. He also contrasts it with the historical worldview that animated the American founders, which until the rapid advance of leftism in the 20th century remained the dominant worldview in the U.S. He then contrasts both of these with Islamism--the view that Sharia should be everywhere imposed.
