This collection is the chance to catch the Pokemon TV series from the beginning as it originally aired. The adventures follow Ash on his journey to master the Indigo League while battling rival Pokemon trainers and Team Rocket along the way. Luckily for him he's not alone since Misty, Brock, and of course Pikachu are always by his side. Episodes 27-52 from Season 1 are captured here in the series that had fans singing, "Gotta catch them all"

I bought this Pokemon collection for my girlfriend for her birthday. She loves Pokemon and so naturally she loved both this one and the part one collection I got her as well. Pokemon is not really for all ages as you could plainly see if you have ever watched an episode. Pokemon is more for kids or simply big fans of the show. She was happy with them so that made me happy. However, there are episodes missing out of the first season part two collection. Not only that but we watched these on an Xbox 360 and both the part one and part two seemed to have a glitch in them. When selecting an episode, or even in the play all episodes option, if you attempt to skip the opening song a glitch happens and instead it will go back to a previous episode each and every time the chapter is skipped so skipping it does not work (I don't know if that is the same on a DVD player but I would assume so, I won't say because I never tried). The only other thing is that the Pokerap can't be accessed from the menu, it's at the end of the last episode, which can't be skipped to also because of the reason above. Overall though I must say I got what I paid for, only some small disappointments imbetween.
