  • Midsomer Muders The Early Cases

Love Midsomer Murders....the quality of the writing of episodes which leave you to try to guess the whodunnit...will miss Tom and his family in the upcoming series 20...but seeing it's still in the family...his relative which had a short part in series 19 I think seemed like a very likable character replacement very much like Tom....

  • Great Series

I have been a fan of Midsommer Murders as well as other BBC murder mystery series since they were aired on A&E. This is a great collection of the earliest episodes (movies). It is nice to be able to purchase several sets in one compilation as opposed to purchasing separately. I can't wait until the third compilation set is available! If you love a good mystery, I believe you will enjoy Midsommer Murders.

A great value. You get 18 of the first episodes. My family and I enjoy watching them especially when there is little to watch on a Friday night. If you like British actors and mysteries this is a great series to purchase.

  • Awesome scenery, superb acting

This collection of the early cases includes episodes from Seasons 1, 2 , 3, and 5. I don't know what happened to 4, but this is good to know if you are trying to collect the entire collection like I am. John Nettles and Daniel Casey (I have to say I like this character because I laugh at his poor driving a lot) are great in their roles, and there are guest stars like Anna Massey, Richard Briers, Prunella Scales, and Orlando Bloom in an early role. Midsomer is less thought-provoking than Morse, but usually a bit easier to watch before bedtime.
