This was the perfect book to help us have the birds & bees discussion with our 10 year old boys. The content was presented very tastefully and in a lighthearted way, without too much technical detail to turn kids off. Just the right balance to help parents have the first talk with their kids. I highly recommend!

We purchased all 3 books. Great books to initiate and help explain the birds and bees to our children. We catch the kids reading the book by themselves all the time.

My neighbor purchased this book for her daughter several years ago, and found it very helpful when her daughter would ask questions about "where do babies come from". My oldest, now 10 was not that curious, so I didn't bother to purchase it then. My now 8 year old is much more curious, so I thought - why not now. The day it arrived in the mail, I decided to show it to my son when it was time for bedtime reading. He was so excited that he finally gets to understand how a baby is created. We've only read 3 chapters so far, and we've both are enjoying it. It's clear, yet not too much information at this point. The writers approach to presenting the material is great. There are 2 characters, 1 wants to know about the birds and the bees, and the other does not, but thru their conversation, they end up both wanting to learn. So far, it's been a great book.
