I have watched this movie several times and still love to watch it. The sequel, however, is terrible.

  • Good UK Culture film

Having lived in England for several years this is a bit dated in that hooligans are not everywhere like they were in the 80's, but gives a good portrayal of what some of the key drivers are in the obsession with football. I know a number of Hammer fans (as West Ham fans like to call them) and have been to Boleyn field myself and Green Street a variety of times before and after matches. Well acted by a number of solid UK actors and the on the pitch excitement and songs are top notch. ...Bubbles is still sung every match day (home and away) by the fans... I'm forever blowing bubbles Pretty bubbles in the air They fly so high Nearly reach the sky Then like my dreams they fade and die Fortune's always hiding I've looked everywhere I'm forever blowing bubbles Pretty bubbles in the air.

  • If you love Boondock Saints... BUY THIS!

I recently saw this movie at a friends house, went out and purchased it the next day and have watched it several times since. This is truly a hardcore football fan movie- and Elijah Wood's defining character. The UK talent in here is fantastic as well, and if you enjoyed Boondock Saints, you will NEED to see this.
