This book is about a woman of vast wealth and poor judgment. The home in the photo on the front was torn down many, many years ago. She was the sole heir to a large fortune and filled a huge apartment in New York City with rare and valuable objects. She ended up living in a hospital for the last years of her life. No one lived in the apartment which set vacant for many years holding her treasures. The price here was very good and I received the book about one day after ordering. I have been very happy with my book and DVD orders from Overstock.

I read a lot and this is quite simply one of the best books I've read in a long time. Huguette Clark's story is enthralling and the authors do a very good job telling her story with just the right amount of detail and pace. In fact, I liked the book so much I just lent it to my parents to read as well.
