I would probably not recommend this product for someone who is just starting out to get into shape. I would suggest buying the DCC boot camp video first and then moving on to this one. I had already been going to the gym for a few weeks and this video wore me out! I have to say it's a great work out and the girls are great at keeping you interested, so for that it's definitely a plus! The boot camp video might sound intimidating but it's geared more towards first time workout folks! I will be incorporating this into my workout routing probably after a month or so of doing bootcamp! GO DCC!!

From inside the DCC dance studio, different DCC will lead you to their favorite, signature dance moves. The warm-up and cool-down is lead by the DCC Assistant Choreographer. A little over 30 minutes, the workout is very easy to follow mainly because it is repeated several times and done in a slow pace. Next, all the dance steps are put together in a routine in the "DANCE BLAST" , where it moves up to tempo and done 5-6 times through. This is a very do-able, achievable dance routine. Lots of hair, lots of fun, lively and entertaining, these ladies are DCC for a reason. Take a chance to peek at the BONUS FEATURES including the dance routine you've learned in full DCC speed; an ab routine; a sideline routine with pom poms.

Also bought this DVD when I purchased the boot camp one.. This DVD is also great fun.. Even just learning the routines and doing them slow is a really good way to sweat.. When you start doing the routines at the Cheerleading speed it is pretty fun & keeps you smiling..
