    Suitable for newbies! I have owned my copy for about a year now. I use it many times a week normally. Like another reviewer, I find the 2nd routine not as 'flowing' perhaps as the first, but overall its good. This is a great DVD for people who want to take part in a work out program but do not want high impact jumping and bouncing off the walls. Many of the moves can easily be substituted with lower impact ones, if the user chooses to (i.e. lightly running in place if jumping jacks hurt your legs),,,,will not affect the outcome of the workout you get, you will still sweat. I perspire very well using this DVD even after the first segment. So when I want to get double duty, I do both and get to feeling very good after! I have recommended this DVD, and I always recommend Overstock as the best place to buy it. In fact, I need a new copy, mine got damaged. (yea so, the music is a bit cheesy, its cool, it works)

    I am quite a fan of Denise Austin's work so I am very familiar with her style. The advantages of this DVD (as compared to some of her others) is that it is an excellent aerobic workout in only 20 minutes. The second routine, however, is an "interval training" segment which uses kickboxing, light weights and dance moves. The dance moves are awkward and often do not flow together well. I find the second 20 minute workout disappointing but the first half makes the DVD worthwhile.

  • It's a great workout. The first one on the tape is all cardiokickboxing. The second is like circuit training with weights and cardio. I wouldn't recommend it for beginners...get your heart rate up first. Definitely fun, definintely going to sweat with this one!
