This is the definitive history of baseball, brilliantly told and recently updated to include stories about the first 21st century decade of the of the grand old game. The whole show is now offered at a more affordable price than its former releases on VHS and DVD. The big problem with the production for me is in the sound mixing. There are times when the music is so loud that I cannot hear the narrative. I have to turn the English subtitles on so I can fully understand what is being said. Nevertheless, this may just be a problem with my brain and not the mix. I don't know. There is no alternative mix available, and this is the most beautifully told history of baseball that I have ever seen in any medium. So, buy it and enjoy this very strange and magical tale that goes on and on and on for almost 24 hours of outstanding feature film presentation. It's no big deal to turn on the subtitles now and then--good exercise for the old thumb.
