Good bedskirt overall but linen is not the best choice unless you have a good steamer or iron. It wrinkles very easily and is very thin. It is recommended if you know linen fabric well.

The color was spot on to what was shown. Queen size fit my bed perfectly. Fabric is a nice quality. I would try a double sided Velcro tape instead of the push pins that it came with for a more even fit all around. Very happy with my purchase.

    • Great Product!

      Option: King - Gray

I'm so glad I found this product! I looked all over for a bedskirt that would fit our *********** bed. We needed a 16.75" bedskirt, but most standard bedskirts on the market are only have a 14" drop. I almost ordered a custom-made bedskirt from Etsy to the tune of $$$, until I found the 'Hike Up Your Skirt' bedskirt on Overstock. I saved a lot of money and the skirt looks great! Just a tip for "installing" the bedskirt... I ended up using velcro strips to keep it in place on the box spring instead of dealing with the spiral screw pins that they provide. It was very easy and the skirt is remaining firmly in place.

    • Great idea, poor execution

      Option: King - Pearl

This bedskirt is a great concept (not having to move the mattress to install), but the execution was poor. I ordered the Pearl color and the fabric is so thin that I can see my boxspring and bed frame right through it. The number of pins (4 per side for a King) seems insufficient to keep the bedskirt in place, especially when making the bed and tucking in the sheets. The packaging claimed that extra pins (plural!) were included for a better fit, but I found only a single extra. And the corners, where the bedskirt sections meet, look sloppy and bunchy no matter how many times I adjust them. Giving this a few days' test run but will likely be returning it.

Nice color, nice feel. If you get stuck trying to figure out how to put these on your bed it comes with an instructional DVD. I spent a lot of time wondering who on earth can't work out how to put on a bed skirt and would be thankful for the instructions. In fact, I can't stop thinking about it. Maybe the same kind of person who needs help in a dressing room. You know, when you get your arm caught in a pant leg and need a manager to sort you out...

This Veratex bedskirt is 1st rate. I did iron it before installing. The pins which came with it were easy to use. After 2 weeks of use, the bedskirt remains firmly anchored and secure. Am really pleased.

    Questions & Answers

    • Q:

"i ordered and there were no pins to secure it- are they supposed to be included?"

      • A:

yes, there should be some curlicue-shaped pins to secure the panels--about 3 for each. I used these and also some tape that helped keep the panels straight and nice. I had a few pins left over. If you have trouble getting them supplied with your order, *** and ***** sell them separately as 'Hold On! bedskirt pins' for about 4 bucks a pack.

      • A:

I don't think that it came with pins but I can't be sure that I didn't miss them. I had to return mine because the color was wrong so I didn't remove all of the packaging.

    • Q:

"What is the range for adjustment? For example, can you adjust a 16" skirt to 10" and it still look good?"

      • A:

You could tack it up higher on the box spring, then adjust the top mattress to allow the Bedskirt to flow downwards. It can't be lengthened, but can be adjusted to a shorter length. I put bed-risers under my bed so I needed the longer length. I hope this helps answer your question.

      • A:

Yes, I think you could shorten it, and it would look fine. Each side and the foot of the bed skirt is each a different and separate piece of fabric, so it should be a simple matter of pinning each piece where it would work for you. There is a pleat that will fall nicely at the corner, because the entire pleat for each side piece is ONLY on the side pieces, not attached to the foot of the bed piece. I love this bedskirt. It is a nice heavy weight, and I was able to pin it to adjust to my needs, and it looked perfect. I hope this helps you with your decision

    • Q:

"Does this bedskirt in the color khaki, match the color stone in the Echelon Belgian home washed sheet set ."

      • A:

These products are made by different manufacturers so although the colors are similar, they will not match exactly.

    • Q:

"is Pearl the name for White?"

      • A:

Yes, that is the name for the white color.

    • Q:

"Seeing as how this is advertised as adjustable, is it possible to make it fit on a full size mattress....maybe? I am a seamstress and very handy. There is no full size offered and I really want linen."

      • A:

By adjustable I think they mean the height of the skirt to the floor, but it should be easy for you to adjust it to fit a smaller size bed.

      • A:

This bedskirt comes in 3 separate panels and includes small "cork screws" that attach the panels to the box spring. This makes it adjustable. The linen fabric is good quality. I could see, with some creativity, how this could work for a full.

    • Q:

"I'm wanting to order the linen bed shirt, but concerned about the color. The Cal King spec shows colors of biege, brown, grey and white, but in the photos and color selections to order, it shows Khaki, java and grey (available in Cal King). I need something in the biege/taupe category and reading the comments for this product it sounds like the grey appears more taupe and the khaki has orange in it. Can you help me out?"

      • A:

I suggest that you NOT buy this product. Very finicky to attach the little thumb screws to your box spring to get this to stay in place. It sags in between screws. If you don't have an area of you box spring that is solely fabric to screw this bed skirt into, then it won't work. For instance, if you have a taller box spring, then you might have to screw this bed skirt into the wood or metal frame area of the box spring so that this skirt hangs at the right height. Obviously, that won't work. You roll the dice buying this product and hoping that it will fit and attach properly to your box spring. We tried 2 of these and returned both. We reverted back to the standard type of bed skirt.

      • A:

The yet unanswered questions about the differences in colors- are the same questions that I have. Please respond to the questions- the answers will help us make an informed decision. The question was: "I'm wanting to order the linen bed shirt, but concerned about the color.
