"Is the pattern woven in the fabric or printed on?"
I bought this duvet cover because I needed the larger king size (check dimensions, it's big). It was a nice surprise to get it and feel how thick and quality the materials are. It has a nice solid dark underside, comfortable to the touch. And the design on top is textured nicely. I love it!

Do not order this item, the description says black and white and it is brown and an off-white. I even went back and checked my order see if I ordered the wrong colors by accident. The pattern doesn't look like it does in the pictures shown. Definitely do not buy this item.

Over Sized
While I LOVE the pattern, the fact it's 100% organic cotton, and no harsh chemical are used, this king duvet cover is so much bigger than my king comforter, resulting in at least a foot of extra fabric in length and several inches in width. I am keeping it but considering buying California King comforter. Although the dimension is listed, the site should warn this fits California King size rather than regular King.
