I disagree with the reviewx that complain about this being hard to put together. I finished it in 15 minutes, and didn't need a drill to hone down parts or a sledge hammer. Put some WD40 or other oil on the inserts that hold the base and long sides together before you try to insert them. The small size works perfectly in our guest bath and it is quite stable with three sets of towels and washcloths for my niece and her children who are coming to enjoy the AZ sun after a horrible winter in PA. Those who say it is not sturdy...come on...it's only a towel rack, not something for blankets and/or quilts. I highly recommend this item if that is the only way you plan to use it--for towels.
I needed a hook in the shower for hanging towels but did not want to put a hole in the tile. I attached this to the glass and hang 2 towels on it daily and it stays. It works exactly as needed. I once tried to put 2 full size towels and a big fluffy robe on it and it fell off so it does have a limit but it is the best hook I have found that doesn't require nails.
I've had this towel bar for 12 years and the bronze finish hasn't rubbed off anywhere. This bar I used constantly. I like the fact it has 3 arms and you can space them out far enough to allow towels to dry between use. Best investment I ever made.
This is one of the few counter stands that is actually tall enough to fit a regular size hand towel. It has a heavy, weighted bottom so it is stable as you tug on the towel. It won't tip over. Nice finish, too.
