Dollar for dollar this is the best deal on sheets I have found. My husband said they are the softest sheets hes ever slept on. I love them too but they are more of a cold weather sheet, they do retain a bit of body heat. I will leave them on the bed this summer because I love how soft they are but if you get hot when you sleep perhaps these are not made for you!
I have purchased many, many sheet sets in the past that claim to be deep pocket, but was disappointed when the fitted sheet barely covered the mattress. These sheets amply cover the mattress and the elastic corners tuck way under. The sheets are very soft to the touch. I wish that additional color choices were available, as I would have preferred a taupe shade. The inclusion of four matching pillow cases is a nice bonus. I would recommend these sheets as an affordable set to fit those deep pocket mattresses.
I love these sheets. I ordered the orange - which is a true, beautiful orange - and they are extremely soft. They are truly deep pocket; they fit on my queen size mattress with a pillow top. They do not wrinkle as indicated. I will absolutely buy more of these at this price point - very happy with this purchase.
The sheets are soft and have a great color and cut. I own both cotton and microfiber sheets and I personally think cotton is better all round, it breathes better and softens with each wash. Microfiber is much cheaper ($** for good microfiber, $*** for good cotton) and has many great qualities for bed sheets. These sheets come in very handy during winter, they aren't porous in nature like cotton and therefore don't breathe as well, keeping the warmth in. It can feel hot to stifling in summer and fantastic and warm in winter.
These sheets are a lovely ivory color. I firmly believe ivory is a staple sheet for any bedroom. I use my navy cotton sheets as often as possible and use these while the cotton sheets are in the laundry. The fitted sheet is a perfect fit for my twin XL (12 and a half inches). The loose sheet leaves a lot of excess for tucking and a comfortable fit. The pillow are the only fit problem as they are rather loose on a standard well-stuffed king-sized pillow. Even on my denser, firm pillow, it's a little loose and doesn't look as smart as I'd like.
These sheets are easy to clean, very pretty and all round a great purchase. I will definitely purchase these again for all guest beds (including a daybed I have), the quality and price just can't be beat! * I received this item at a discount for my honest unbiased review. My reviews are completely based on my personal experiences with the product. Others opinions may differ due to their own experiences. Thank you for reading my review!
I hadn't tried microfiber sheets, but decided to because these were such a good price. They are very soft and comfortable, and dry smooth in the dryer. Be sure to wash them first (I was so excited to use them I popped them out of the package and onto the bed), as they are slightly itchy straight from the factory. After washing they are not the least bit rough or itchy. The color was true to the color online, maybe very slightly more intense. (I got the sage green.)
I will admit price wise I was very skeptical but these sheets are very nice and fit true to size. I have a deep pocket full/queen \ twin and I bought a set for both. I will be buying more! They washed great!
It's really hard to find decent, soft sheets with deep pockets for a king sized bed, when you're on a tight budget. I ordered these in gray and I loved the fact that it came with 4 pillowcases instead of 2, that was actually the selling point. These sheets are insanely soft. I've had them on the bed for about 2 weeks now and they're still super soft, it makes getting out of bed even harder! And the biggest plus, the pockets are deep and the whole sheet goes under the mattress so it actually stays on our bed! My husband is a very active sleeper so between him and 3 dogs, we've never found sheets that aren't ripped off by the morning. Now we have! I love these sheets and will definitely get more. I will say though, they're extremely thin which worried me at first, but they've held up really well.
I'd definitely recommend these.
These sheets are very nice. Fit perfect. Not your flimsy flannel; nice & thick; well constructed. I purchased 3 sets: COTTAGE ROSE * very pretty - VICTORIA * (pic not shown; beautiful petite floral climbing vines in a light chocolate brown with an off white background) - SPRING BLOOM - Perfect for those chilly nights in March; pretty colors. I purchased these in queen size.
I purchased a set of Eddie Bauer flannel sheets last year, which were a heavy flannel and had a good tight weave. So, I thought I would get a second set like the first, in a different color. However, these have a loose weave, and the flannel is not very heavy. I checked the labels, and they are named the same--but this set has a different quality.
I am a microfiber fanatic, a convert from the high end Egyptian cotton variety, mostly for wear-ability (piling) and the fact that I refuse to iron bedclothes, so if it wrinkles in the dryer, it stays that way . I have had good microfiber and not-so-good microfiber, and these are excellent!!! Very dense, very soft, fit the bed beautifully, and mine is an adjustable bed, so if the fitted bottom sheets stay after adjustments, they will stay with any shifting while you sleep. They wash well and as long as you keep the heat at delicate, they come out of the dryer looking brand new and wrinkle free. They are as good a microfiber as I have ever encountered and I will be going back and slowly replacing all my sheets with these. They're that good! I have been taking them off, washing and putting them right back on the bed because anything else (all of which cost considerably more) just doesn't satisfy after sleeping on these. I have been spoiled.
Sheets look great. Feel very nice. Thread count meets the needs for my guest room.I chose neutral patterns so changing out seasonal spreads is not a problem. I was pleasantly surprised by the low price. The fit was very nice and they seem to breathe well. I would recommend the Becky Cameron products to a friend.
After reading all the reviews on these sheets & seeing that it seemed that there were 2 completely different views on these sheets I did a little research on flannel sheets. When you get these sheets, as with any cotton clothing or bedding, you must wash them first. DO NOT USE ANY DETERGENT OR FABRIC SOFTENER the first time! Add 1 cup of WHITE vinegar where you put the fabric softener and wash on delicate. After washing this way, place in dryer on LOW heat with NO dryer sheet and check lint filter every 10 mins or so as these sheets will shed around a baseball sized ball of lint the first washing. Remove sheets when dry. Subsequent washings...use very little detergent and NO dryer sheets, or if weather permits, hang outside to dry and your sheets will stay pill free & soft. Time will tell if these sheets hold up to the test of time. But remember, these are $$$ sheets. For high quality German cotton flannel sheets you will pay around $150 and up.
These sheets were everything the website described! They didn't feel that soft when I pulled them out of the package, but once I washed them the first time, they were so soft! Living in Wyoming we need warm sheets about 8 months out of the year and these are perfect! The color is exactly what was shown on the website and we couldn't be happier! I would definitely recommend these to anyone in a cold climate.
I bought these for my college son's apartment in a queen size. Was looking for some quality all cotton sheets that fit a deep pocket and didn't break the bank. He's had them about a year and that have held up well through washings. I liked them so well I ordered another pair for another son and I am about to order them in a king size. These are some of the few sheets I have found that are advertised as "deep pocket" and they actually are. I have had a great deal of trouble finding deep pocket sheets (even expensive ones) that don't end up riding up and popping off and the corners. These fit the bill and they remind me of some sheets my grandmother had that lasted for years.
I have spent the last couple of years trying to find a nice lightweight, soft cotton sheet set that has a nice pattern to it. I purchased the sophia set and it am extremely happy with it. It is just as pictured, but soft than expected. It fits my queen size mattress perfectly which had been an issue before as the fitted sheets from other brands would always shrink and no longer fit. Not Laura Ashleys. There was no shrinkage after putting them in the dryer, they hardly wrinkled and fit like a dream. Even my very picky husband found them light enough for him (hes always hot) and soft enough for him as well (he doesn't like synthetic fibers). I would definately purchase more from LA. I will also state that I live in Ontario Canada and these arrived quickly, within a week and a half.
These sheets are so comfortable and beautiful, what a great buy, And like some sheets once they get thrown in the washer, they come out with all the seams starting to razzle. These sheets do not. Very happy with them.
Love the color and feel of these sheets. They weren't kidding when they meant extra deep pockets - we have a very thick mattress and a topper on the bed, and the pockets were still too large. I was worried about the lace edges rolling after going through the wash, but they are perfectly flat. All in all, a good value and they look great with the yellow and grey comforter.
We recently purchased a new deep pocket (oversized) King mattress set. I ordered these sheets and they are HEAVEN to sleep on. I washed them and there was not a lot of lint in the dryer filter screen; no problems at all with shedding. These sheets are warm, soft, fit my King Oversized mattress perfectly. . .no problem with them staying on the corners. High quality with a reasonable price. Highly recommend these sheets.
After waiting 2 weeks for these sheets, I was getting upset to the point of returning them but so glad I didn't. I love these sheets! Hardly no lint in the dryer and they did not shrink and my mattress is very thick about 17". So soft and warm. Very satisfied
It's hard to find just top sheets or just fitted bottom sheets anymore. Everything comes packaged as a set, and as such, too often the sheets don't measure out to what they claim. I found myself needing bottom sheets because the ones that came in a package I purchased were so tight that eventually the side seams split and would no longer useable. The bottom sheet I purchased had elastic all the way around the bottom and were deep enough that they fit the mattress well. Because of its thread-count, the sheet had a smooth, soft, silky feel. They seemed to resist wrinkles pretty well too. My only complaint is that the elastic seems a bit flimsy and because of that it doesn't fit as snuggly as I like. But, all in all, I do like the sheet.
Sheets are a good quality fabric sturdy but soft. The pattern is just different enough to be very attractive, not exactly gingham, not exactly a tiny plaid. A very conservative navy blue. bottom sheet fit our deep mattress well and stays attached.
Besides being so cute !! They are very soft and warm. I washed them right out of the package and they became even softer and more wonderful! They are not a flimsy sheet--I know this because I have bought the very best to the worst. I am going to buy some more as soon as I write this review. Love Overstock!!
I've had jersey sheets before, a set from West Elm. IF THE QUALITY OF THE COTTON IS DECENT, they should be softer and stretchier than cotton percale. I liked my jersey sheets; unfortunately, my Jack Russell clawed up the fitted sheet burrowing. I still use the rest of the set, because jersey is warmer than percale, and is a nice alternative to flannel, which I can't stand. I find flannel to be heavy to have a tendency to pill, regardless of the quality. I use the West Elm jersey top sheet as a light blanket in the summer! Summary: good jersey sheets are soft and warm and will last a long time unless you have a set of claws in your house :)
So, given my experience and stringent requirements, I can assure you that these Ink plus Ivy sheets are a great value for the money. I got a twin pair for my my sons-one gray and one blue-both soft heather-type colors. I may get a set (full) in natural for myself! They will keep me warm and soft in a nice cocoon during the endless gray, wet and chill of a Seattle winter.
We got these in yellow and have dressed the bed with these and the Chic Home Finlay duvet and shams to stunning effect! The sheets are, indeed, ultra soft--and the yellow is a true yellow- bright, cheery and mellow. We've laundered a couple of times now and they come out of the dryer wrinkle free. Just pop them on the bed straight out of the dryer and you don't have to worry about ironing (Yes, I DO iron my pillow cases. Except for these. Right out of the dryer). Anyway, we'll probably get the grey set, too!
These are very soft, but don't expect the highest quality with this price. The stitching on the ends is basic. But these are a great find for students, young professionals on a budget, as they're chic and will add character to a bedding set.
wow, so soft and light weight yet very warm. I bought it for my kids bedroom and they love it. they say "it's the coziest sheets they've ever had". Specially now in the winter they feel so good. I've washed them already, no shrinking, no discoloring, it still feels like new. a little pricy but worth since it feels like really good quality.
The quality of these sheets really impressed me as I was not expecting much at such a low price. They are very soft and comfortable. Ordered the dark red color and it is beautiful. Will surely purchase these again.
I love the unique thatch pattern. I bought the forest green and it's a nice hue: not dark green, just a pleasant medium green, and i think the thatch pattern (white with the dk med green) gives the sheet set a calming effect. Great quality, softness and weight. I like these sheets more than others for which I paid more money. I'm new to the Merit bran but I've already put other colors and other Merit linen designs in my cart. The thatch design is a nice change from the solids, zigzag or floral patterns. Thx for keeping your inventory "fresh" with updated selections.
