Okay, as far as bedskirts go. My gripe with bedskirts is that it is so easy to misposition them.

    • Microfiber Solid 15-inch Drop Bedskirt
      Verified Purchase

Love these bedskirts. The price was great and I got it in several colors so that I can change them to match the bedspreads that I change monthly. Haven't washed any yet, so I don't know how that will turn out, but, since it is microfiber, I assume that if I get it out of the dryer soon enough it will be minimally wrinkled. Best parts about these - heavy enough to not be see-through and they are tailored nicely to fit well. I cut away all but 18" of the under mattress fabric so that I don't have to lift the whole mattress every time I change bedskirts. It makes life real easy for me as the 18" fabric is enough to hold the bedskirt firmly in place and makes the change an easy one.

    • It's fine.
      Verified Purchase

The tag reads Experience the comfort and soft touch as a 1500 Thread Count 100% Egyptian Cotton Blah Blah Blah Tiny print: Made in China Tinier print: 100% Microfiber. Bought the gray. Color true to website. Didn't have the big wrinkle problems others mention but I've put it under an eyelet bedskirt for layering, so it would not be an issue. If wrinkly, suggest you put in dryer with a damp towel for several minutes. It has nifty box pleat details at the sides that are not evident from the photo. It's fine and the price cannot be beat.

    • Great value...perfect bedskirt!
      Verified Purchase

As others have said, this is 100% Egyptian cotton and not microfiber. Egyptian cotton is my preference, so this is a great value for the price and free shipping to boot! I ordered the queen size in taupe. The color matches our IKEA duvet set perfectly and really puts the finishing touches on our bed.

    • Good but TOTALLY WRINKLED!
      Verified Purchase

The fabric is soft but light and the colors were right on as described. Unfortunately, both units I purchased were completely wrinkled and took about 1.5 hours (EACH!) to iron out. . . in the past, bedskirts I have purchased were pretty much ready to put on.

    Questions & Answers

    • Q:

"Is the mocha a chocolate brown or more gray? Is the taupe gray or brown? I need a queen size chocolate brown bedskirt with split corners. Help me please and thank you."

      • A:

The Mocha is a rich chocolate brown tone, and the Taupe is a lighter brown medium brown tone. So the Mocha option would likely work best.

      • A:

The mocha is a true chocolate brown, which is exactly what I had wanted when I ordered it.

    • Q:

"So someone said the dark brown is like a charcoal gray and the silver one looks like gray? Anyone can help me out thank you. "

      • A:

I ordered the "silver" and it came as more of a gray color, dark.

    • Q:

"I have a question about the material that goes under the mattress... Is it the same microfiber material or different? The bedskirts I have now have a a harder material under the mattress and the mattresses slide across them."

      • A:

Sorry, I returned the item. the color was not what I wanted.

      • A:

It's a white fabric like most bed akirts have, and I think it's like polyester/cotton? Anyway, it doesn't make my mattress slide at all. I love mine. I got the grey color.

      • A:

Its not the same color as the actual skirt part. its a white, gauze-like material. I haven't used my yet as its on a spare bedroom set, but I don't a mattress would easily slide across it. Hope this helps!

      • A:

It's not the same micro fabric as skirt. It's VERY papery thin white fabric that if pulled too hard when sliding it under the mattress will tear. The entire skirt is flimsy with no durability. It LOOKS nice on but it's chinttzy. My father told me you always get what you paid for.

      • A:

It ius a different material... The mIcrofiber is not as thick as it appears on the pic

      • A:

I wish it were...It is not and I made the mistake of washing the skirt and then even worse...I dried it....low heat....and the dang thing melted in a messy clump...I think it was made of some sort of paper fiber...similar to those fabric softener sheets we throw in the dryer....I had to make a new base for it....from an old sheet...which was a PAIN... The color of the skirt changed drastically after one wash....which did not run ...fortunately....and became a sky blue instead of the turquoise I purchased. It still works for me....but I would NOT advise buying it if you need it for the long run.

      • A:

This has like a thin batting-type material, like they use in quilts. The mattress does not slide/glide on it. It stays put for the most part, though.

      • A:

It is a thinner material but course feeling. It is not the same as the bedskirt. My queen size mattress does not move.

      • A:

it's not the same fabric, but more a simple poly-cotton blend. I needed the help of my husband to place the mattress on top -- there's no "sliding" anything across the material. Love the idea suggested by another customer of trimming it down so it can be tucked under the mattress rather than tackling with the eight of the mattress

      • A:

No, it is not the same fabric. It's the normal white type of fabric that is typical of a bedskirt.

    • Q:

"Is the mocha color a dark brown.. Thanks"

      • A:

No it's more like a charcoal gray. It is not a dark brown.

      • A:

The material is white plain cotton like. My mattress does not slide on it.

      • A:

I got blue which was much lighter than shown

    • Q:

"What color is pictured here, seams teal to me but that is not one of the options?"

      • A:

Yes it's Teal. Right now it looks like it's only available in Twin XL.

      • A:

Sorry, I did not purchase that color. I bought the off-white or ivory colored bed skirt. Good Luck

      • A:

yes it is teal however not available in all sizes

      • A:

Its a teal. But more on the green teal side. Not blue ish at all.

      • A:

        It is teal.

      • A:

This actually looks more like "Federal blue" to me than teal. Google "Federal Teal" and you'll find an example of that color.

      • A:

I think mine looks more like a turquoise color, not teal at all!

      • A:

It is micro fiber, looks fantastic, just throw it in the dryer for a few minutes and the wrinkles from packaging come right out.

    • Q:

      "does skirt have split corners?"

      • A:

Yes it does have split corners. It has an overlap at the corners as well, so there isn't just a gap at the split. I like this feature!

      • A:

        Yes it does

      • A:

It does have split corners with an overlap. I really like it, however it came extremely wrinkled and it was very difficult to iron it out. Some wrinkles just wouldn't let loose.

      • A:

This bed skirt is elegantly tailored with inverted pleat detailing.

Very open to redirection to another brand/item. Thank you in advance!"

      • A:

        This is fairly thin.....

      • A:

it's matte not see through, not shiny . The quality is good . This is not thin

      • A:

It is fairly thin, not shiny. Mine are white so not sure about the other colours.

      • A:

This bedskirt is thin, similar to the thickness of a sheet. I have the silver or gray color. You cannot see through it but if you're looking for something thick, this is not for you.

    • Q:

"My bed has a head board and a foot board......does this bed skirt have split corners that will fit around a foot board?"

      • A:

Yes, this bed skirt does have split corners

      • A:

        Yes, it should fit easily.

      • A:

The headboard would be fine however depending on how your footboard is attached you may need to adjust the bottom corner. There is a slit on the inside of the pleat and If you're handy with needle and thread and are willing to fiddle, probably no problem there either

      • A:

It does not since the inner fabric is solid.

      • A:

I would go with brown as the taupe is a grey with slight pink hue.

      • A:

I like the Taupe, but it's more darker and stands out more than the Mocha. But either one will work, just depends if you'd like the bed skirt to be more noticed, once It's on the bed.

    • Q:

"Is this bedskirt mircofiber or 100% cotton? I have seen a few reviews and some have said it's 100% cotton not mircofiber. Can you clarify please?"

      • A:

It's microfiber. I just looked at the tag, and it says 100% polyester. I purchased this particular bed skirt because I have four animals, and microfiber tends to not hold fur as much as some other fabrics. It has done well as far as the pet hair build up, looks nice and has worn well.

      • A:

        It's microfiber. Hangs beautifully.

"Does the twin xl have split corners?"

      • A:

This was so thin and cheap that I sent it back. Couldn't tell you about corners.

      • A:

I ordered the King, and that does have split conners. Have no idea on the twin,so maybe it's a question for customer service rep.

      • A:

I have it in queen size(navy). It is split but the fabric overlaps so the split is on the side of the pleat.I read some reviews...it is thin fabric but has a nice sheen and I did NOT iron it...it went on and any creases smoothed out.Maybe the dark color helps.. Remember the focus is on the terrific navy and beige sea shell comforter set above the dust ruffle. Most of the dust ruffle is covered by the comforter. It just completes the look.

      • A:

        Yes, it has split corners.

      • A:

Yes they do have slits on the side. I'm happy with this product.

      • A:

I ordered the double bed skirt. The corners are pleats.....all one piece of fabric. I hope that answers your question.

      • A:

        Yes it does.

      • A:

yes, it will fit a full size

      • A:

A twin size will NOT work on a full size bed ..a queen size can be pulled and tucked to fit the full size bed.

    • Q:

"What holds these bed skirt in place ? Do you have any items to hold them place?"

      • A:

It has that thin white layer that is attached and covers the top of the box spring

      • A:

The bed skirt fits over your box spring and you top mattress keeps it in place. I have had mine for about 6 months and it does not even move once you set it into place.

      • A:

The only thing that holds it is the mattress on top. If you go to a Current catalog they have bed skirt pins you can get.

      • A:

Other than the weight of the mattress on top of it, there are bedskirt pins that can be purchased to insure that the bedskirt will not move. They look like an elongated oval shapemon top and then two 1 1/4 pertrude from the other side. The long pins get pushed into the box spring and assure you on no movement.

      • A:

Its like a sheet that covers the box spring and then falls to the sides.

      • A:

you don't need anything to hold in place. there is an attached ( sewn on cheap fabric stuff) white fabric sewn to the three sides of the skirt which your mattress sits on and completely covers to hold skirt in place. This style is OK as long as you can move the mattress to place this on and put it back on.

      • A:

The bedskirt has a non-woven fabric top that acts like a flat sheet over the boxspring, and this holds the skirt portion in place. If it tends to slide on your boxspring, you can use upholstery pins to anchor the corners.

      • A:

        The weight of the mattress.
