Woven Sheets - Usually I like 1,00 - 1,500 Thread Count, but these are nice. Very thin but soft. You cant over wash, bleach or overdry or it will ruin the thread. Delicate but very soft and cozy I recommend and have in two colors the slate blue and white
Over time, purchasing many sheets for my family and doing research, I concluded all the new fabrics and high thread counts are more hype than quality. New fabrics and high thread counts may feel soft upon first contact, but really, I think a lot of them wrinkle like crazy, feel sort of slimy from being too soft, and do not breathe well. Living In a hot, humid environment, I searched for plain old-fashioned cotton percale sheets not over 400 thread count and finally found them here on Overstock. These sheets are solidly substantial, a good size, cool, and comfortable like I expect cotton sheets to be. Of course, one can't beat 100% pure linen for a hot, humid sleeping environment, but these cotton sheets are good too and much less expensive than linen. If the top sheet was bigger, I would give these sheets five stars.
If you don't care so much about softness and need basic, well made cotton sheet than this is a good purchase. BUT it is no way a 500 thread count. I also bought similar set by a different company on Overstock, that was 400 thread count , and also very average but well made. And this feels a lot like that 400 thread count. Neither this at 500 or that at 400 are soft. So for average but well made this is a good buy. If i had it to do over I would look for 700- 800 thread count.
