Reminds me of the spread I had growing up. Soft, cozy, pretty... like a thick blanket. FYI, washes well, no dry cleaning bill. Lighter print will rise making it even better out of the dryer
I am so pleased consumers now have more of thinner quilts available. Comforter's are too bulky and do not fit in the average home washer. This means a long trip to the laundry or paying for dry cleaning. I hope this is a continuing trend. Not long ago the choice's were not as good either a solid or a traditional "quilted" design.
I'll preface by saying I haven't laundered this yet, so I can't tell you how well it will hold up. PROS: this quilt very generously covers my mission style cal king bed showcasing the head and footboard. Lovely soft buff ivory, listed as off white. Shams and quilt are trimmed in heavy cotton twill. The geometric quilted square pattern has contrast to the ivory fabric as bright white thread has been used for the machine quilting process. This kicks up the classy look imho and the rest of this decor dance will happen with colorful throw pillows. This is a summer weight quilt feels nice over a high thread ct. Flat sheet. CONS: loose threads! There's no fraying observed but threads come loose, yes you can trim 'em but it gives me pause thinking it might best be sent out for dry cleaning. For the price point it's very nice quality!
