This is beautiful but I will have to return due to no ties as described. The material is wonderfully soft and pretty and I wish I could make it work. I cannot seem to make my down comforter stay put without the ties.

Nice product but shams are ENORMOUS!
I ordered a king-sized set in white and the fabric is very soft and pretty. However, the shams I received are absolutely enormous. The product description states the king size shams as 20in w x 36in long, however, the ones I received are 26in w x 41 long (if measured by interior seems) or 32in w x 47 in long (if measured in total). See picture below; I placed a [correctly-sized] king size pillow on top of the sham I received for comparison. Seems like a measurement error on behalf of the manufacturer. I've alerted Overstock of the issue and requested new shams to be sent. Hopefully they'll be right this time!

The fabric is 410 thread count so fairly densely woven, yet is quite soft. I am happy with the duvet, but the pillow cases are pretty much useless. They are huge. I'm talking huge like they would fit two king size pillows inside. Because it was the duvet that I wanted I will keep this order. If the pillow cases are important to you then you may be disappointed. Of course this may be only a problem with this one order.

Beautiful
The ecru is a lovely color, and the satin finish very luminous. It is generously cut and fits our down comforter perfectly. Great price, too. One caution: it has button closure, not zipper as described.

Color was electric
My son loved the color but a duvet not convenient for his college dorm room. He would prefer the ease of a comforter to throw in the washer and put on his bed. Prefers not to have to take the time to "button" up a duvet.

Soft but worthless
This duvet was sooo soft, but just like the other reviews suggest, the king size shams are absolutely pathetic. They are so massive you could practically fit 2 pillows in each sham. Also, the photos didn't represent an accurate color of the dark gray duvet. It person, it's more purple than "slate" or "charcoal" or whatever they call it.
