These pillows are the best thing since sliced bread! I never imagined I could find a pillow I love so much that I never want to lift my head off of it! I am tempted to order more to have for the future if heaven forbid my new ones wear out!!!!!!!
My mom had one of these type pillows for over 20 years. I have been looking for this pillow and FOUND IT!!! It will NEVER go flat and will be as comfortable as any pillow you have ever used. It has a springy type feel. Your head sinks in but it is also firm enough to give you good neck support. The pillow has a removable, washable cover also. You will not be dissapointed. I bought two, two years ago and they are like brand new, and I use them every night. It is almost comparable to memory foam without being "hard " like. A must have for anyone any age!!!
These pillows are fantastic! I am one of those sleepers who like to crumple my pillow into a ball and go from there, my husband likes full, fluffy pillow--these do both! AND there is none of the feather trails around the bedroom, they all stay in the pillow and do not stick you in the face or head as you sleep! These pillows don't get flat or lumpy- they fluff up to perfect with just a few turns. I completely recommend these pillows!
This is the best pillow I've ever had, and I've had many pillows over my lifetime.
I own the too expensive Tempurpedic Cloud pillow, but I like this one Much better, and I use this one instead.
One improvement I would make with the pillow, is that I would offer it in two different Heights.
This pillow comes in at about a 7 inch height. I think they should also offer an 8 1/2" height too for larger persons so that the shoulder width distance it properly taken up.
What I do with this pillow to make up the height I want, is underneath my bed sheet right where the pillow rests, I placed a 1 1/2" foam piece the same size of the pillow, and then put the sheet over it, and the pillow rests on top of that - this way it gives the right height/loft for me.
The Pillow itself is exceptional, and the way your head sinks into heaven so soft yet has just the just right 'springy push back' resistance, supports your head just right.
I think this pillow should be called the cloud pillow and not the tempurpedic one, because theirs softly sinks with heat/weight yes, but after a few minutes when its action is finished, you then are laying on firm dough, whereas this Latex pillow, stays cloud soft all night... ...it's awesome.
Review based on the pillows I received, however I did notice there appears to be different pillow densities even for the same model pillow (meaning some of the same model pillows are firmer or softer than others, and so I wish there was better factory consistency control on this density matter. Again though, if it were my company, I would offer in each of the three categories: soft, medium, firm.. ..I would offer two different height/lofts for each one.
Also I noticed the firm pillow in this offering, is just way too firm!!! ...in my opinion and experience.
My pillow shams measure 26 x 26 but in hopes of obtaining a full look, opted to try these 28 x 28 Euro Pillows. They filled them completely corner to corner without overfilling resulting in the pillow showing or bulging out of the back insert pockets. I am very pleased with this purchase and the appearance of my daybed pillows. If you have similar needs, you won't regret this purchase. The smaller pillows sized the same as the shams would not have filled them to capacity and would have resulted in disappointment.
I have purchased many pillows looking for the best side sleeper pillow and this one is great. It keeps it shape and does not go flat while you sleep. I do not wake up with terrible neck and shoulder pain. The only reason I gave it only 4 stars was because I ordered a king size and this is the smallest king size pillow I have ever seen. I roll over from my left side to my right side several times during the night and have a tendency to roll off my pillow because it is so small. I am use to sleeping on a bigger pillow. Still it is a good pillow, just need it to be bigger.
I purchased these for my mom as her Mother's Day present and now I have to buy myself some. But I am having trouble finding king sized. She thanks me all the time for these awesome pillows, very comfortable and so so so soft!! You cannot go wrong with anything with the Tommy Bahama name on it. It truly means quality.
These were thinner than I thought they would be...they pillow on the left of the photo looks very plump...but the pillow on the right of the photo is more of what it really is like. Looks great in the sham!!!
This is a good pillow for a stomach sleeper. In general, you should buy the soft one if you are a stomach sleeper, the medium one if you are a back sleeper, or the firm one if you are a side sleeper. I am a stomach sleeper, so I bought the soft one. At first I was worried that it was still too thick as it pretty well fills up my king size pillowcases, but it compresses to an appropriate thick for a stomach sleeper like me. I probably would like it even better if it was a little thinner, but with that being said, I have not had neck or back pain.
It's also good to remember that the pillow is only one part of the equation. My wife and I replaced our old mattress that had developed divots where we sleep with a new very firm Simmons mattress (a very firm mattress has very little of the foam padding, which is the first part to wear out in my experience). We combined this very firm mattress with a 3" all-natural botanical latex topper. This has worked very well for us. I also like separating the topper from the mattress so that if one part wears out, we just replace that, rather than having to get a whole new mattress just because the foam layers are starting to wear out and develop divots. Our new topper did not fix our old mattress, it simply filled the contours of our old lumpy mattress. But on a new flat mattress, it is wonderful. I hope sharing my experience with the various factors that you need to take into account will help you to make an informed decision. There's nothing more frustrating than spending a lot of money on mattresses and pillows and still not sleeping any better -- hopefully my experience of what has worked for me and what hasn't will save you some cash and sleepless nights.
My wife has been searching for several years for the "perfect pillow". she sleeps more on her side and stomach, but still likes decent support. We have tried roughly 8 different pillows, until now. Recently, she stayed at a hotel with a similar two layer pillow, and gave me the task to buy her one. On the hotel website the pillows were $70.00 each, and here came what appeared to be a great deal on Overstock. Ordered the pillows and she can't be more pleased. Soft but supportive, comfortable in all positions, high quality and durable filling (fluffs perfectly every morning) superior quality fabric. Just really nice. Can't recommend highly enough.
I've had a 100% down pillow for many, many years which has seen better days and needed replacing. After losing my job in December due to the economy, I've been frugal with my spending. I decided to try non-down pillows from department stores to save some money. After buying two pillows from two different stores and then returning them because they were not comfortable, I decided to check Overstock.com. I really, really wanted another down pillow and the price at the department stores were just too expensive! When I read the ratings on this pillow and saw the fantastic price, I decided to purchase one. Lo and behold, I'm IN LOVE with this pillow!!! I purchased the Jumbo pillow as I'm a scruncher. I like a huggable pillow that I can mold to my head and body and this is THE pillow. If you are looking for a very soft, huggable pillow, this is the pillow for you. I couldn't be happier, plus I'm sleeping so much better!
My only complaint is that the description of these wedges gave no indication of the depth/thickness of the wedges. My husband recently had surgery which now requires him to sleep elevated. Some of the wedges looked much thinner, so I went for the thickest one. This one is about 11" at it's thickest point. It is good quality, with a very nice washable cover. Would be great to sit up in bed reading or for patients who are bedridden. However, I think a slightly thinner one may have worked better for our purposes. It wpuld have been nice to have all the information available when purchasing, especially on items such as this that are unreturnable after opening.
I never though I would like a soft, cushy pillow but I love them! I am finally able to get comfortable. I have disc problems in my neck and I have tried at least 5-10 kinds of pillows from memory foam to neck rolls and I could not find a comfortable spot. These pillows just adhere to the shape of your neck and head giving me a very restful and comfortable sleep. I would highly recommend them!
I bought this with my fingers, eyes and toes crossed b/c there were no other reviews! Well I am happy to report that this 'system' of pillows is perfect! Yes it seems expensive but it's so worth it. For anyone that needs to be semi-upright whether it's for congestion, reading or any other reason, these pillows offer superior support and b/c the angle is adjustable simply by moving the largest wedge up or down. And the behind the knee booster is awesome too! If reading in bed you'll have to supply your own little pillow but I'm sure almost everyone has an extra soft one laying around. Get it! You won't regret it. But it is BIG! But I don't find that an issue but someone else may. It' takes up one side of our queen bed.
These pillows are not great, but good. What would make them perfect is if they had a little more "depth" to them. If you like to scrunch your pillow up underneath you these are great. BUT, if you just want to lay on the pillow in it's original shape, your head will sink to the bottom.
I bought this pillow for two reasons. The first was because I slept on a foam pillow while visiting a friend and found it quite comfortable. The second was because all night I constantly wake up to flip my pillow over to have a cool spot for my head. I don't have to do that anymore! In fact, since I've been using this pillow my neck doesn't hurt in the morning and I find myself sleeping more soundly as well as being cool. I would definitely recommend this pillow - well worth the price!
This pillow feels very soft and cushy when you first put your head on it, which I like, but then you eventually sink down further, so that at times the pillow may feel as though it comes up too far on either side of your head. It is OK to sleep on, but not as good as I had hoped. It seems really hard to find a pillow that is soft but supportive and that doesn't get flatter during the night or at least within a month or too.
The pillows were the most comfortable I have slept on in a long time. I bought them for my guest room and my guests raved about the comfort. So then I used them after they left and I love them. I will be purchasing more so my future guests may have some too....highly recommend.
I read some of the bad reviews posted here about this pillow. You DO have to use it properly, and infact my husband gets it turned around and the walls are shaking again.....BUT this has been a true miracle from the first night he used it. It is a little firm - but that's probably one reason it works so well - and it takes getting used to. If you are looking for a soft squishy pillow - this ain't the one for you, but if you are looking to cure a loud snoring problem....this IS your pillow!!! My adult daughter spent three nights with me this week while my husband was gone on business....she can wake the neighbors with her snoring.....she slept in my bed with me and used the snore pillow....not a peep!!! That was a miracle. She also said that for once she didn't feel 'ragged out' in the morning. It is not THE most comfortable pillow ever, but the crazy thing has done what it says for us. NOTE: BE SURE YOU PAY ATTENTION TO THE PILLOW....THE HALF MOON SHAPE GOES UNDER YOUR NECK....OR IT DOESN'T WORK. I highly recommend this.....WEEEEELLLLLLL worth the money after trying a ton of other options with no luck at all :) :) Buy it!
As others have noted, these pillows don't look to be very substantial. Don't be put off by their appearance. Rest assured (pun intended), these pillows are *comfortable*! They provide excellent support. After the first night I slept on them, I woke up the next morning without my usual neck cramps or lower back pain.
Having used them now for over a month, I can say that these pillows were the best purchase I've made in a long while.
I purchased these pillows after having tried other pillows that were a disappointment. These pillows are GREAT!!!!!!!!!! I would tell anyone who is hesitant to go ahead and get them. They keep their shape and are so comfortable to sleep on.
I purchased a set of medium and a set of soft king and updated the bed in my house and at a furnished rental. I am pretty picky about pillows (says my husband), and I loved both sets. I put two med & two soft on our bed and really noticed a difference. The soft are not nearly as soft as you would see in a $100/pillow soft down. If you are looking for the type of soft that you can fold twice or smoosh into a small ball, these are not for you. I have one of those and I couldn't bear to give it to goodwill with the rest of my pillows, but in the month that I've had these, I've not used the old, worn, beloved down pillow even once. These overstock pillows were good to go right out of the box - no need to air them out - no funny smells. They are very puffy when sitting on the bed, but they smoosh down nicely when you lay your head on them. I sleep a combination of side & back. Both firmness levels are great, but I have developed a preference for the soft one. It tucks nicely under my neck while still supporting my head when lying on my back and allowing a comfortable neutral spine. Absolutely zero problems with either of these pillows and I usually reject new pillows within one-two nights.
I won't buy any other pillows. I've bought 6 of these in the regular size and 2 in Queen size. Surprisingly the queen size were cheaper.
The main reason I bought them in the first place was because they have the most fill of any other pillow I have been able to find but then after buying my first two and seeing just how wonderfully comfortable, fluffy and soft they were, I had to buy more.
I have serious neck problems to the point where I have to get injections every few years and if I don't have the right pillows it can cause major issues so these are highly recommended if you want something that will be very soft, very comfortable but that will also support you while you sleep.
This is a pretty good quality latex pillow, just a little softer than the reviews would indicate. I have used latex pillows for years and usually they are usually very supportive, and I found that these are not that great for side sleepers, which I happen to be. They would probably be fine if you are a back sleeper. As another reviewer noted, they are a bit squishy. The latex pillows of years past, were more dense and therefore great for side sleepers. These are not uncomfortable, I just find that I have to roll them up get them comfortable enough for me. I discovered by doing some online researth that these pillows are made by Louiville Bedding Company, who do indeed make Beautyrest pillows. Personally, it would have been nice to see a label on this pillow that indicated it was a "Beautyrest" pillow. I am not totally unhappy with them and will keep them for spares, but plan to keep on looking for a latex pillow that actually has some qualitative density to it.
When I first read the reviews I saw some people say these were smaller than expected, so I was nervous I was going to receive a pillow the size of a candy bar. I decided to place the order anyway and I am glad I did. These pillows are very comfortable and the same size as an average pillow.
I had a different brand of boomerang pillow years ago. This one was much better for a bargain price. This version is a lot firmer, the one I had before was kind of flimsy and I would have to use an additional pillow to get adequate support. This is great if you just want to prop yourself up in bed or on the couch. Works well if you lay in your back because the two arms of the pillow support your shoulders. Side sleepers get the benefit of have a hollowed out space so your arms rest on the bed and do not get cramped in some awkward position; allowing you to hug the pillow since it is not as wide as a standard pillow. On my stomach my hands did not fall asleep because I was able to wrap my arms around the pillow and not underneath like I would have to with a regular pillow. Even if you do not use this pillow every night, it is a great multi-purpose product and could be helpful as a maternity option when you just can't get quite comfortable, or after an unexpected life event that might come up; post surgery or car accident when you are forced to lay on your back for a long length of time. Great if you suffer from acid reflux and need to be elevated at an angle. My only concern for comfort would be the polyester pillow case, but it would be a simple sewing job to copy the existing one with a soft cotton jersey material. Another solution would be using a bigger pillow case, king size, one that would fit over it as a substitute to the one that comes with it. Lots of reasons to love this unique pillow overall. Would definitely repurchase and recommend to friends/family.
I needed to fill the 26 x 26 Tommy Bahama shams I had purchased and these filled the bill - inexpensive and filled the euros to the corner. TB like Restoration Hardware and others tend to have larger than 26 x 26 - weird sizes like 27 x 26 1/2. Shams are measured flat not filled and therefore you "lose" about an inch on either side when it is stuffed. This necessitates "sizing" up to get that fat, plump look we all desire. The same holds true for standard shams of 20 x 26 - best to stuff them with a standard queen of 20 x 28 or a queen size of 20 x 30. I realize that this is wordy but hopefully it will save the next person the amount of returns and aggravation I went thru due to sizing issues. Additionally the stuffer is inexpensive - they are for decoration only so why pay $$$$. Reserve those dollars for your sleeping pillow.
After years of back pain from uncomfortable pillow, beds, and sleeping on my stomach I was doubtful about this. I was actually ready to break down and buy a super expensive bed but this pillow was a last ditch effort, and It Worked! Its the most comfortable thing ever. I haven't had the stiff neck and shoulder pain that I used to have since I got it. It fits in a regular pillow case and two of these pillows still leaves plenty of room for my spouse and me on our queen-sized bed.
these are nice pillows. the fabric cover is soft. the pillow itself is much softer than i thought it would be. i sink right into it. which is nice sometimes, but if it want support, i have to use more than one of them,
I'd recommend these pillows... now that I'v purchased 2 more sets totaling 3 (6 pillows in all). The photo show a wrinkly pillow protector but "Candice Olson" hmm I thought she would probably have good products; so I discarded the photo and decided to take a chance...Very glad I did.
They are full and yet soft, the fabric is nice quality and so is the stitching. The pillow protector is a great bonus...much nicer than what the local store has. The price is Awesome!!!
This wedged sleep aid feels very nice to the touch. The quality is up there in materials, however, the "aid" is poor in that it is soft and does not really support/lift a person with ailments like reflux, or one that requires elevation of the upper torso. It is a plus that there is a cover. The problem here is I probably would need 3 to get the elevation/life needed. All in all I would not return it but still have to use other supports/pillows to get the lift needed.
I bought these pillows for value, product design, and allergy-avoidance characteristics. I was drawn by their puffy appearance and other reviews I read. I was not disappointed. It took a few days to get used to the thickness of the pillows. They are wonderfully easy to mold into the the right shape each night and give themselves to my bidding rather than dictating how I must sleep to accommodate them. As the weeks have passed, I like them even more, if possible, than when I got them. These pillows have a very luxurious, old-fashioned, comforting feel to them.
I bought these for our guest room and when they arrived I was so pleased! I showed them to my husband and daughter, My husband said right away... You have to order more! (He wanted to keep these in our room and have me order more for the guest room) My daughter said she wanted a set of these for christmas! The value is wonderful, the appearance is great, the fabric is what I expected from a feather pillow, I will be putting a pillow protector over it plus a pillow case, the feathers are a bit crunchy, but thats' to be expected IT'S a FEATHER PILLOW!! I am buying 4 more sets of these for Christmas! I highly recommend these pillows!!!
These pillows are well made and cause me no problems with my allergies or asthma. I would note however that they are very thick pillows. I usually sleep with two pillows, but with these pillows you may only need one. They are a tight fit in a pillowcase.
There are enough positive reviews here that I might not have written this review but I felt I needed to counter a couple of negative reviews I read. When I fist got the pillow unboxed I placed it in my dryer for about 15 minutes on air dry just to tumble it. You should do this on a regular basis with any down/feather pillow,it completely re-fluffs it. This restored the pillow from its squished state due to shipping. It also got rid of any smell that might have existed. I actually didn't smell anything from the beginning.
Also someone mentioned the "minimum 75%" down label on the pillow. I've had more expensive all down pillows from different manufacturers and this is what they all have on their labels. I believe that's a legal requirement, I don't think they can use 100% even though that's what they are. The pillows that are some combo of down and feathers must state that on the label, and in my experience they all do. As far as I can tell this pillow is 100% down.
I use down pillows exclusively because I have several bad cervical disks in my neck and can wind up with severe pain and headaches if I sleep incorrectly. I am most comfortable with firm down pillows that don't allow my head to completely sink through the pillow. After much trial and error I've found that "firm" can be defined quite differently by various manufacturers. High quality down pillows use 600 and up premium down loft. You will see less expensive down items using 500 or even 550. However down loft - 600,700,800 etc., does not determine firmness. The number refers to the size of the down clusters that the pillow uses. An 800 pillow has larger clusters than a 600. Theoretically this means that an 800 pillow would rebound more quickly to its previous shape when a load ( your head ) is removed than a 600 pillow would. Also, theoretically, the down clusters would last longer giving the pillow a longer life. I've not tested that but feel that this pillow should have a long life and many people have used lesser pillows for many years. Plus if you re-fluff it in the dryer as I do you will be amazed at how this restores it.
The firmness of the pillow is determined by the fill weight. The jumbo pillow I got has a fill weight of 28 ounces, many down pillows, even those called firm, will only have a fill weight if 18-21 ounces. Many manufacturers don't even disclose this number they just use the terms soft, firm, and extra firm. This makes it impossible to compare different pillows or even to have a good idea what you're getting leading to tedious product returns which is a problem with pillows. This pillow is an extra firm as I wanted. Comparable pillows from quality makers such as the Company Store, Down and Feather Company and others run about $200 for this level of down and fill weight. Of course some will be using a high quality and expensive thread count for the cover. That's very nice but I'm planning to sleep on mine not just look at its cover. I have pillow cases for that.
I have serious neck compression and arthritis. My memory foam pillow of seven years was finally giving out and I began looking for a new pillow to replace it. It took me four tries to get it right. All other pillows were either too hard, too soft or too thick. The Swiss Lux memory foam with ventilation offers the correct amount of support while still be soft. It is perfect. I would recommend this pillow to anyone who has neck issues or not.
When they arrived...2 king sized pillows arrived in a box that looked like it held one standard size pillow, so right away I thought no way, they sent the wrong thing...but they blew out of the box when i opened it, and then I figured they were supposed to be "extra firm"...how could they be? Well, they are, and they don't lose their shape. Amazing pillows. Tried everything else, so i figured why not try gel? Well, I wasnt disappointed! I really like them. I like firm pillows but don't like when they hurt your head...these don't do that...they are firm AND soft, if that makes sense. So, they are quite comfortable. I would highly recommend them!!!
I have a bit of a bedding addiction. I am constantly buying duvets, pillows, covers, sheets. I seek nothing less than perfection in my night's sleep. Even my SO and friends have commented on how fabulous my bed is. And the highlight of my bed is easily these pillows. They're wonderfully soft--the only reason to buy down, in my opinion--yet they offer a startling amount of support. I've purchased (many) other down pillows in the past (in fact, I used to buy two pillows every year or two--again, addiction), but my quest for the perfect pillow has ended. This is the holy grail.
Now that I am older, I sometimes experience Acid Reflux at night, so thought a wedge pillow would be a good choice for using to fall asleep. This particular wedge pillow was a GREAT choice. The height was perfect, the width is perfect and I have actually awakened a few times, in the morning, still on the wedge and my regular pillow. I'm a side sleeper, so you know it has to be comfy to sleep on my side on wedge. The firmness is just right for me too. I have a sleep number bed with a a 2" memory foam topper, so thought the memory foam would be good for the wedge. Love it!
I bought the cream colored one for my 2 yr old and I am very satisfied so far. It seems to be a good enough quality memory foam and he likes it. I like the plushness/softness of the water resistant cover and that it comes with a pillow case to put over that if you want to. i Haven't had a major spill on it so I can't say how water resistant it actually is, but I like it so much I would buy another one if this one got ruined somehow.
I have always preferred a soft pillow so was skeptical when I ordered this. It gives the height I need without having to bunch it.
Also molds to head and neck without feeling hard something I have found with other pillows of this type. Probably the added gel
makes the difference.
I thought it would take some getting used to but it felt like an old favorite from the first night. I'm getting much better sleep now.
Good buy! I am thinking about buying another set so that I can have four. They are huge and fluffy. Side by side they fill up the width of our California King - which is excellent considering I leave them on the bed throughout the day as part of the decor.
PERFECT Size for my European square shams. The pillows are very well made and oh so soft !!
When I opened the package I was surprised by the thick material and how soft the pillows were.
I use them as decorative bed pillows and when watching tv for back support.
I HIGHLY recommend this product!
Just received this pillow for xmas and i love it! I have been looking for a good memory foam cooling gel pillow for a while! I researched different ones and read reviews and decided to ask for this one! I am usually a pillow tosser and since sleeping on this new pillow I have not once had to turn it! It is so comfortable and really does stay cool all night long! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a memory foam that stays cool! :)
I received my pillows yesterday. I was dismayed that they were so smooched down and flat. However, after much shaking and punching, they fluffed out and after 24 hours were proper size. I slept on them last night and they were very comfortable. They required more shaking and punching this morning, but still, they came back. They are a good value for the money. I am pleased with Overstock.com and their customer service dept.My only complaint is the weight. They feel like they are packed with lead.
I ordered this pillow to replace the 8 pillows I had to arrange every night in bed to get comfortable because of my Arthritis and Fibromyalgia. I did read all the reviews, had a open mind and was ready to review this pillow. It is indeed big, but I don't fit in it like the woman on the photo fits in it. I'm a voluptous woman and am almost 6 feet, so I'm big. The pillow is a bit stiff when you start using it, but during the night it kind of flats out in the middle where you're sleeping on it. I have to re-adjust it several times during the night. I was hoping for good back support while my arms would also be supported at the other side. That doesn't happen for me but that might have to do with my size.
There are 2 things that disappointed me, the quality of the fabric is really rough, and there are no shams available. I cut open a king size sham and pulled that over the pillow somewhere near the middle where I can lay my head on. They other thing is the chemical smell that still seem to linger after the 3 weeks that I have the pillow.
Overall I wouldn't buy it again but would recommend it so a smaller friend.
Starting in January, my occasional upper back pain became all but intolerable to the point where I would wake up in the middle of the night with the middle finger on my right hand feeling like it was broken. Saw a sports med doctor and then a PT and began searching for something to replace my memory foam contour pillow (those things are LOUSY - at least if you have a tall head).
I'm still not sure what made me want to buy this pillow since I normally won't buy something I can't inspect in person. Maybe it was the "neck notch" on this that sold me. I found reviews of it on other sites and decided to give it a try. I love it so much it makes me want to try their mattress topper too!
First off...I am a back sleeper and depending on the night either the notched side or the solid side work for me. As to the smell....it has a nice scent of mint chip ice cream. I used it that first night I got it and every night since (2 months). If I jam my face into it I can still smell the minty smell, but it's all but gone. Kind a miss it - I liked it. At any rate, this is the first time I've spent more than $$$ bucks on a pillow and it is worth every penny. May even get a second one in case this ever wears out or they stop making them.
We suddenly didn't have enough pillows for company over the holidays so I ordered these... I was intending them to be the guest pillows but I tried them one night and I can assure you I won't be giving them to anyone! I have read reviews in which people complain about how thin these pillows are but I always sleep with two pillows anyway and I haven't noticed them being thin. They aren't big fat things but that's ok with me. The thing is that they don't flatten out. I rarely have to fluff them, they stay springy and cushiony. I notice other reviewers say "like a cloud" and you know what? That's how I would describe them too. So soft, so comfy... I can't wait to go to bed tonight!. I am picky about pillows and am really surprised to find "fake" pillows that I like so much.
This was not my first experience with a gel-filled pillow but I gave mine away to my son-in-law when he broke his neck. I missed my pillow and found these on Overstock and took a chance on them. I was very satisfied and happy to have my comfort back. I just don't get a good night's sleep without it. Its loft is consistent and it is always comfortable. I highly recommend it.
This Mermory Foam Sleep Pillow, is one of the better pillow that I have ever owned! I sleep better during the night useing this pillow. I have some neck trouble, when I wake up my neck doen't hurt. It is not too frim. It is a little soft . I like my pillows frim, but I really like this softer pillow!
I have only two cons with the pillow.
1. It is hard to put pillow cases on the pillow. I have to put one slick pillow case on, then put on cotton pillow case sense I don't like the slick pillow cases.
2. It could be inch thicker.
Other then that, it is a really good pillow.
After researching all the cpap pillows, I decided on the SleePap pillow. So far I am very happy with it. I am a side sleeper with obstructive sleep apnea and use the Resmed nasal pillow. The pillow is not very thick, but I like the fact that I can sleep with another pillow underneath and kind of move this one around. It is very comfortable and I would recommend to anyone that uses a cpap. Anything to help to make us more comfortable!!
They are thick and firm and I thought oh no i cant use firm pillow i wasted my money but they are great i dont have pain when i wake up so im in heaven at night and they dont lose there shape or get flat like most pillows i would stronly recommend them
I am a pillow fanatic. In my search for the right pillow -- soft, moldable, down=like -- I have bought at least a dozen pillows over the years. Expensive white down ones, down-feather mix, alternatives, soft, firm, you name it. I knew exactly what I wanted, but could never find it. Then I tried Angel Soft, without high expectations. And there it was, finally, THE pillow, two for less than half the price of other imperfect pillows. Unbelievable, the value, the softness, the perfection. My search has ended at Overstock.
THESE ARE BELLA LUX BRAND PILLOWS! (It's a very high-end luxury brand, marketed to the very wealthy). If you can find a better pillow than this, buy it. I would have given these a hundred trillion star rating if I could:) I discovered these @ TJ Maxx a year ago, labeled "Bella Lux" brand. There were 6 in the store. I bought 4, figuring I'd go back & pick up the remaining 2, if I really loved them. I went back the next day to buy them, & to my dismay, they were long gone. For the entire year since, I've been sleeping in total, indulgent luxury, and searching for more of these pillows, to replace some of my other down/feather pillows. (Some are too flat, others are too heavy/lumpy/hard). This is the absolute PERFECT amount of down fill. Well, as perfect as can be, because really, "perfect" is based on individual's opinions- There will always be some people who think there's not enough fill, and others who think there's too much fill, etc. I've owned down & feather pillows for 20 years- I've paid $200 / pillow. None come close to this pillow's quality- I've owned this exact pillow, & slept on it nightly, for a full year. It's the absolute, ultimate perfect pillow! I always get Queen size, because I like to align it sideways with my head/neck/torso, & scrunch it up to sleep on. Sometimes, I'm so exhausted I fall asleep on my back, & I wake up the next am. with this cloud-like cradling sensation of my head & neck. I just purchased & rc'd 4 more of these from overstock- They are perfect perfect perfect! I'm going to buy 2 more, to save for my daughter to take to college with her. Definitely make sure you purchase zippered covers for them- It might not seem like you need them up-front, but 5-10 years from now, you'll be very glad that you've kept these treasures covered. I take the covers off to launder monthly. Oh, and by the way- When people are complaining that the tiny feathers are escaping the cotton fabric, that's a GOOD thing- It means the down clusters are so incredibly tiny (high loft), that even a solid sheeting of cotton doesn't contain them completely. And, we're not talking about any amount of down leakage beyond .0001 % of the fill. It's inconsequential, except that it's the indicator of a VERY high quality fill. The cotton fabric is a very high thread count (= nothing much to get between your head & the pillow! Makes for a very soft pillow). And, the edges of this pillow are also very well-constructed- Flat edged, double-fine stitched. I can't say enough about these magnificent pillows. Gazillionaires pay $2,000+ / pillow! They are getting a pillow that is roughly equivalent to this one. Live like you are mad-wealthy. Buy a few of these luxury pillows, & let o.co know that these pillows are in continual demand! Thanks for reading my pillow novel. Sleep well :)
While on an anniversary outing to a very nice hotel, I experienced the luxury of feather euro pillows...I just had to have some for our bed at home. I was excited to find several choices at Overstock.com. I relied on the reviews of others to decide I should give these a try. My husband and I are both thrilled with this choice. These pillows are moldable, but firm and thick...just like the ones at the hotel!
Purchased this pillow for a relative suffering from leg swelling caused by CHF. Wish I had bought it sooner. The covering is soft and comfortable on his bare skin. He uses the pillow in a semi reclined position and the cushion is long enough for his entire leg from knee area to foot (6'2" individual). The higher lip portion gives him a place to rest his feet against and it works well for resting the heels on top as well. The memory foam is thick enough to gently cushion his legs while the regular foam portion gives good support and appears to be of good quality...I think it will hold up nicely. This is the only custion that he has been able to tolerate for a long period of time...regular pillows and blankets were constantly being removed or kicked away.
