Lightweight and perfect by itself or you can add a lightweight blanket on top for cold weather and be nice and warm without being weighted down. Washes great, I have line dried and used the dryer with excellent results for both.

  • The weight of blanket is great but the quality is

The blanket is lightweight and great for the summer. The downside is that the stitching is coming apart and the feathers are coming out. I wish the construction was better.

  • Nature 240 Thread Count Down Blanket - Perfect!
    Verified Purchase

Before we moved into our new-to-us home last year, I ordered this blanket and had it tucked away for our second spare bedroom. The bedroom is now ready - painted, new carpet, new trim, second hand bed frame here now and mattress yet to come... in the meantime, recently spent evening in basement (bad storms and it was hot hot hot outside). Opened up this blanket, grabbed some sheets, blew up the inflatable bed and camped in the basement. This blanket is PERFECT for a light blanket. It definitely is a lighter weight down blanket, but I think it is just perfect, especially if someone has hard time with heavy bedding (like my grandfather.) Couldn't be happier with it.

  • Awesome product!
    Verified Purchase

I purchased this for my son. After two months of use in cold, cold Wisconsin, we're still extremely satisfied. However, I'm not entirely sure how this would fare in warmer weather . . . . . I'm guessing too warm, despite it being categorized as "all-weather." May be too warm in the southern climate, at least in my opinion. Of course, we're used to nasty winter temperatures, so take this particle piece of my advice with a grain of salt. Very high quality. Also, I'm not entirely sure what people mean by it's "too thin" . . . . . despite continued use, I would judge that the "puffiness" of this comforter measures anywhere between 3 − 4 inches in thickness.
