I had purchased a memory foam mattress in 2012. In 2013 (1 1/2 years later) the foam mattress had a large dent in it. I rotated it and it didn't help. I threw out the mattress and went back to the mattress I had had for over 10 yrs. that could be flipped. I saw advertised this 3-inch memory foam and 1.5-inch fiber mattress topper and purchased both. They came las week and I put them on my bed on Wed. 11-9-16. It is great sleeping but I hope the foam part holds up. I can at least flip and rotate the foam with out difficulty. So far a 👍🏻
This memory foam topper is like sleeping on a cloud of awesomeness. I originally bought a memory foam topper about 10 years ago when they came out. Now they have much better technology and I wanted to upgrade to one with gel in it to. Little did I know it was going to be a complete awesome experience. This has turned my bed from just ok to a comfort that can not compare to anything else. The gel helps keep me from sweating while the 3 inches of memory foam sink me in and hug me like never before. I absolutely love this mattress topper and cant believe I waited so long to find out that the new ones are so much better.
I was in a quandary - I purchased a "firm" mattress at a store and returns were not accepted. For 8 months I tried to convince myself I could get used to the mattress. Nope. Couldn't do it. I could not sleep on the mattress without being in pain. It was so hard it felt like the circulation in my legs was being diminished. I even started to develop additional pains from being forced to sleep on my side. Ugh! My first attempt at fixing the problem involved purchasing a 2.5 inch memory foam cooling gel mattress topper, and a padded mattress pad. It was still not enough. After consulting with a few family members and friends I decided to add another 2-inch memory foam topper. I am VERY pleased to say that this product did the trick. I now sleep comfortably through the night without waking in pain of any sort. I do appreciate the support of the coil spring mattress underneath the memory foam. From what I've read and gathered from others it appears that I basically built my own "Plush-Firm" mattress. I got a great deal on the Lucid 2-inch Solid Foam Mattress Topper. The end result was paying around $50 as opposed to buying a new mattress that was going to run around $850-950 (with no guarantee I would be comfortable). The two foam toppers appear to do a good job of adhering to each other. There is absolutely no slippage. I place the cooling gel topper on top of the Lucid 2 inch topper. Sleep is so important and I am very happy to be getting the rest I need now. Yahoo for the little guy!
