I've purchased several sets of these sheets over the last few years, and I really love them. We have a king bed and often sheet sets tend to be too small and come untucked during the night. These sheets, if anything, are even bigger than the "deep pockets" implies. The top sheet comes down to the bottom of the box springs, and the fitted sheet is ample enough to stay under both the mattress and box springs all night.
As far as pilling goes, I've never had a problem with that. However, I always wash them separately in cold water, on gentle cycle, with a very tiny amount of detergent, and no fabric softener! I, also, always remove them from the dryer promptly, otherwise, they will wrinkle badly. I don't blame the sheets: it the nature of the fiber.
If you follow the directions, you have a set of lovely, soft, set of sheets that should last for years. Mine have never faded, either. I have had them on my bed for six months, and I wash them every week and put them right back on.
I never iron them because I don't see the point. I might touch up the pillow cases, if I missed the dryer buzzer. But I rarely do.
All of mine are made in China.
Made by Home Environments, these sheets are the best bed linens I've ever owned. I now have four sets and two sets have held up extremely well after two years of regular use. The other two are newer but I expect the same. The softness is incomparable, they're durable and haven't frayed at all, they haven't shrunk after two years of washing and drying, and there is no pilling. Deep pockets fit 18" high mattress perfectly. Highly recommend this brand. I did purcahse another less expensive brand on O.com and they were horrible. Kind-size shrunk after first wash and could not be used so they went into the rag bag. This brand is definitely worth the extra money.
These beautiful sheets are sooooo silky. They are very drapable, a quality that my husband and I love. The color and satin sheen are perfect for what I wanted and do not wash out. They are light, so are perfect for warm weather, but I will use them in cool weather also. I like the fact that they are a rayon made of bamboo. They washed wonderfully and came out of the dryer pretty much unwrinkled. What a change from the 100% cotton sheets (which I also love). If you are a "cotton person" you might be a bit taken aback by the "liquid" drapability of this fabric. Very comfortable! We feel like this set is luxury itself. A great price, too. I have purchased expensive very high thread-count cotton sheets and have enjoyed them, but I LOVE THESE SHEETS, and will order more.
I'm extremely happy with the comfort of the sheets, light and soft, super comfortable. The color is fine, I don't know excited one can get about color - it's light blue, it looks like I'd expect light blue to look. My one issue is that we've gotten a couple of small tears already in the fabric. It's from our dog jumping up onto the bed, so if that's not a possibility in your home due to doglessness, no reservations on these sheets, go for it. We've had plenty of sheets before that the dog has jumped on many, many, many times, despite my repeated requests to her to not do so, and those other random fitted sheets didn't develop holes in under a month of use, so I'd caution about the durability of these, especially if you have pets that can not stay off the bed.
Can't compare to the more expensive brands, but you get what you pay for. I was looking for something not too pricey to put in my horse trailer camper. I have the expensive brand of bamboo for my home and they are also thinner feeling. That is the beauty of bamboo. Not thick or bulky and soft on your skin. If you are tough on sheets have no fear. We are super tough on them, lots of tossing and turning and dogs in the bed. Love the bamboo. These will work well for occasional use in our camper. Soft and attractive.
I just moved into my house so I wanted a good deal on nice towels that will last a while. I believe that I made a good decision. Surprisingly, the first use went well, they are more absorbant than most towels are the first time around. I believe after a wash or two they will become even better.
In more than 50 years these are with out a doubt the most comfortable sheets I have ever used. Plus they are much more affordable than some brand name sheets sold at the Number bed store at over *** a set.
I love these sheets. They arrived quickly and were so soft and smooth. The fitted sheets are large enough that they fit our split king mattresses well. The flat sheet is generous as well. However, after 3 washes, the fitted sheets have started to pill. I am very disappointed because I love the set.
Ordered these in the olive green which is pretty and feels wonderful. The fitted sheet has extra elastic bands sewn in to keep the sheet secured. However this sheet both fitted and top were a little short for the bed but does work for my IComfort foam mattress.
Obviously, taste is subjective, but if you're considering this then you must be somewhat drawn to it. Be confident that the print is well-executed (sometimes these prints look cheesy or cheap in person - not the case here) and this looks really nice. As others note, be aware that it is a dove-grey pulling towards taupe. It is definitively not white. Birds are a subdued orange, but orange enough to pop.
My biggest concern was the material, with a low thread count and "rayon." We sleep without flat sheets directly under the duvet cover and a touchable, breathable fabric is essential. I loathe synthetic fabrics and typically find them extremely uncomfortable and unbreathable, particularly in the intimate nature of a bed linen. However, I am ecstatic with our choice here; the material is soft and comfortable and breathes as well, perhaps even better, than the high thread-count cottons that are more typical in our bedroom. This is immediately my favorite duvet cover.
We've weathered our first few washes well; time will tell what the future holds but I am very happy thus far. Buy knowing that this is soft and comfortable and that the print looks great in person.
Fabric compares well with the Brielle sheets. We washed before use and one of the buttons came off in the dryer , but that seems to be a weak point with duvet covers in general. As usual, the blue is not as pictured. It is still pretty. In the sunlight, it is royal blue and in a normal bedroom, a dark ultramarine. I would buy these again. Very soft.
I wanted to update my bedroom without spending too much money. This did the trick. It's a clean and modern aesthetic. There is a metallic coloration in the design; I was surprised to find it but like it. On a negative note, the fabric does shed and has left fuzz/threads on my dark grey quilt.
Here's a little backstory.
My boyfriend hates sheets. I have tried cotten sheets, egyptian cotten, flannel, jersey, you name it, he hates it. he claims they get tangled and make him hot and sweaty and uncomfortable.
I had a friend reccomend bamboo sheets to me and after reading the reviews here i purchased these. I ordered the gray and found they were a nice neutral color that works well in my dark wood bedroom. When I recieved them washed them right away in cold water and didnt have any problems with them bleaching out or losing color which some other reviewers had. I put them on the bed and long story short, both my boyfriend and i LOVE them. We live DC so it's pretty warm out and he says they keep him cool but still covered. I think they're increadibly soft and really luxurious. My mother came to visit and she too loved them (and everyone knows the mom seal of approval is the highest award of them all)
so, long story short, these are a great buy. The only negative thing about them is they wrinkle very easily which doesnt bother me in the slightest but I thought i would offer a heads up if that's something that bothers you.
These look & feel like top notch, extremely expensive towels. Very classy. My only complaint is that they take a long time to dry between uses. I tend to wash my hands many times throughout the day and after using several times the towel stays damp until the next day. I think it is due to how thick the fabric is. If these were in a guest bath or used sparingly throughout the day then they would be fine.
This is a lovely and very soft throw. The gray side is a silvery gray and the 'aqua' side is more blue than green, nonetheless it's a beautiful color and the throw is well made and does not shed. Loved is so much I ordered a second one.
This blanket is soft and perfect as far as how it feels. That I'm in love with. The downfalls are that it has snagging possibilities (had to tie 4 snags closed before even washing), it also shrinks down about 1 size, even washing on cold, drying on low until damp and then hanging until dry. Will be keeping it for the comfort, just hoping it lasts long.
The blanket is high quality, soft, and warm. It is a bit thin but I don't mind that. It is not machine washable which is a bit of a pain but that is worth it since I love it so much. I thought it would be more of a decorative blanket that would sit on the couch and look pretty, but I cuddled up in it often throughout the mildly chilly evenings of the Washington Winter. Highly recommended.
Sheets are extremely comfortable. Well worth the price.
These ones have survived a couple washing unscathed and are still going strong.
Highly recommended especially since most spend around 1/3rd of their day on bedsheets
Great quality, great price. Very well made and the size is as advertised. The duvet and pillow covers are extremely soft and feel great against my skin. I would like to get another in a different color and pattern for my other bedroom. The package arrived sooner than expected. Great service from this company.
I was so impressed by these sheets that I bought another set, and have encouraged family members to purchase them also. They wash beautifully and are virtually wrinkly free if you take them out of the dryer promptly. I've donated my non-bamboo sheets because, like Princess and the Pea, I just can't stand my old ones!
We have ordered these sheets before and love them. The issue this time is that I ordered white sheets and they are NOT white. They are an eggshell kind of color that look dingy when we put a white pillow case from another set with it.
California King is BIGGER and a different shape, these feel amazing, but barely cover the top surface of the bed, let alone hang down enough on the sides to tuck in. My only complaint, but its a big one. Getting into bed feels like trying to dry off after a shower with a hand towel. :-(
This is a very nice tightly woven throw. It is very soft and does keep you warm but not overly so. The color is just a bit more muted than the pic compared to some other accessories I have but it is a beautiful color. Very happy with purchase.
It's pink. And gray. But not lavender. It goes well with purple and lavender, though.
I'm going to have to hide this wonderful throw from everyone!
I took a star off for color. I hope it holds up to my love :)
I bought this bamboo throw for the orange color and to get the soft feel of cashmere without the price. At first, I was a little disappointed with the material since it came very wrinkled and the bamboo threads were not lying flat and looked wavey - it was also thinner then I expected. After a light iron and some normal use the blanket smoothed out and has been very soft and comfortable! You definitely get the luxury look and feel of cashmere at a fraction of the price! Being able to machine wash it is also a plus.
