Felt like a nice duvet, quite lightweight - as advertised by the descriptions. Unfortunately, we had to return it due to size difference compared to our duvet cover.
This is the first duvet I have ever owned and I really like it. It is very airy and fluffy. I am using it on my child's bed and he still has accidents now and then. He had an accident the other night and I was worried about how it would wash but I ran it through my washer and dryer on normal cycles and it came out just fine. This has been a great duvet. It's well made and the baffles hold the insulation in place very well. I have not placed this into a duvet cover yet and I have 2 large breed dogs and one medium dog. They've jumped on and off my bed dozens of times with this duvet cover exposed and it's held up wonderfully. It's very comfy. It's warm, I've had to kick it off to the side a few times since this summer has been so hot. I have machine-washed it and it's not shown any adverse wear and tear from that. One thing to note is it has a slight kind of crinkly noise. Perhaps inside there is a bit of plastic that helps keep the insulation from escaping. It doesn't bother me at all, but something I noticed that I didn't expect that perhaps will matter to someone else. Another note is I received this duvet for free in exchange for an honest review as I am an employee of Bed Bath & Beyond. I am committed to giving an honest review and I really do recommend this product.

I have been looking for a light weight comforter that is long enough to prevent my feet from sticking from under the comforter. The Downlite Twin XL comforter fits the bill. This comforter keeps me toasty. It is light enough and breaths such that it does not make me feel hot at night. It is so light that I barely notice. The comforter is bright white, and I worry about it becoming dingy over time. I have not had the opportunity to launder the comforter yet, so it may not be an issue.
