The blanket is beautiful but I had to return it. It was thin and not at all warm and cozy. I was disappointed because I have been looking for a velvet plush blanket. And this was not it.

The velvet plush fleece blanket arrived promptly, it was a beautiful scarlet red, wonderfully soft and nice looking. However, for my purpose, it had two problems: It was too short--- I intended to use it for a bed spread/blanket, but the bed is unusually high, so I do not see this as a flaw in the blanket; just a mismatch. The other problem was that it was wildly electro-static. It clung and sparked when I moved it. That does seem like a flaw for someone like me who does not wish to use fabric softener.
