A year ago my sister and I were asked to decorate a room in my brothers house for his two little granddaughters. Rather than go with a current Disney character (Frozen was popular), the girls 3 and 6 loved pink and purple too, so we went with butterflies and pinks and purples, that would stand the test of time longer than the latest Disney characters, and now a year later, we are glad we did. The younger one is now into pinks and, of all things, Spiderman! Yet they both still love their room at grandpa's. This should keep them happy for another four or five years!
We recently re-did my stepsons' shared bedroom and my husband built them a gorgeous cedar bunk bed. I was looking for a set that would look great with the cedar wood, but that both boys would like and that had no little kid characters so it was appropriate for both kids and they wouldn't mature out of. (one is 6 and the other approaching tweenhood) This set looks great in the room, both boys like it and I can buy several sheet sets as backup. The colors on the comforters are perfect and have made it through many washings. Love the set.
The material is a little cheap, but not unexpected with the price of the bed. My son loved the design. hate spending so much money on sheets for kids, who want a new design regularly.
