Very disappointed in this bedspread. During every wash the chenille threads shedded from this bedspread. It was a huge mess

I do wish the manufactures of this spread had tried to get some of the lint off before shipping. I bought this for my granddaughter and she loves it, but it has been washed twice and dried (stopping the dryer every 5 minutes to empty the lint filter). It still had too much lint to put on her bed so we are going to wash or at least run through a rinse cycle to dry again and hopefully that will remove all of the lint. I expected some lint but this has enough to weave together and make at least a lap blanket.

These spreads are lovely and very soft chenille. They actually did not go with the walls in the room (my mistake) but the kids loved them so much I kept them anyway, :) What could I do. They are a very good quality.

Purchased these for a vacation rental loft with 4 twin beds. The design pattern is nice as are the colors and the solid brown fringe. Unfortunately the shams are pricey so did not purchase them. I think a brown leather pillow that is embellished with turquoise and silver conchos would add more of an interesting contrast then all matching pillows. I took the bedspreads out of the package and put into the clothes dryer to try and remove some of the lint. They are 100% cotton so that is to be expected. I think that chenille always brings back a feeling of comfort.
