The coverlet itself is very pretty like in the pictures but it is very thin like a quilt. There is no thickness to it what so ever. The decorative pillows that come with it are not the same metallic gold as the coverlet and shams. They are embroidered with a gold/tan color, not metallic.

Great high-quality material. On the lighter but not thin, cheap material. The gold shines perfectly but not in a tacky way. Light enough for summer and warm enough for the fall seasons.
