Hotel Madison Cotton Uncrushable 2-Inch Gusset Baffle Box Featherbed

I recently replaced a 10 year old featherbed that was wearing out with this and I find it comfortable. I have it on top of a soft-side waterbed, which was not cushy enough without a featherbed because I have chronic pain. I did reuse the cover from the old featherbed, since this new feather bed doesn't include a cover. If I didn't have the cover I'd use old sheets over the feather bed underneath my regular sheet to keep the feathers that invariably poke through from being noticeable.

I ordered the queen size and it was smaller than I expected. There was inches of room on all sides making the bed lopsided. It was a great quality and made the bed feel 10000 times better than it already did. I was sad to have to return it.

I hate to sound like the princess with the pea, but the feathers in this thing seem to have been plucked from a pterodactyl.

What a great find. After years of waking up sore, I slept through the night on this pillow and woke up ready to go. Seventeen pounds of feathers in the queen size may be why it's 'uncrushable', and it is definitely soft. I let it fluff for a day then put it under my fitted sheet--easy. Anyone with back problems sick of sore hips or shoulders should try this beauty. No pokiness, and not even my cat could smell ducks. Oh, it's made in America and still a bargain.

We've been sleeping on this for a few nights now and it adds a nice little layer on top of our firm mattress. The gussets/baffle boxes hold the feathers in their compartments so that there isn't any sinking or pushing out of the feathers.

Put this on the flat and rather uncomfortable guest room bed. It is now the most comfortable bed in the house! I was worried about quills and the possibility of inferior feather fill but to my surprise its a fluffy dream on the bed!

I love my feather pillow so thought I would try feather bed and o my goodness. It is amazing I am so glad I purchased this. I can sleep in comfort :)

It was exactly what I need for softening up the mattress on my bed. I would have given it four stars but it doesn’t have any straps that secures it to the mattress. I may add some elastics myself.

Very nice quality, has definitely helped with sleep

This feather bed is well made, and very comfortable, but, unfortunately, it makes the bed extremely hot to sleep on. We have added a temperature regulating mattress pad to help - but it is still very warm.

"Uncrushable" must refer to the product if it isn't used. It needs to be fluffed up after every use, and then it compacts immediately upon use.
