Hotel Madison 350 Waterbury Stripe Down Blanket

Please note the king size is in fact larger than the queen (the dimensions are listed incorrectly on Overstock). The blanket is a good weight, lighter than a full comforter but still very warm. Because this is is all cotton and down (no polyester), it's considerably better at regulating temperature than many other comforter/blankets.

I purchased this in the Quartz color which is a deep pink. I like the weight of the blanket as it's not too heavy but is keeps me very warm. My last down blanket from this company Pacific Coast Down I had for 7 years and after washing and wear gave out this winter. I took a chance this would be from the same manufacturer and it was. They make a good product and I have allergies to some down but not from this company. The outer cotton cover is soft and the box stitching keeps the down in place. I've had zero feathers come out of this which shows it's stitched well. The only thing I've found that in the Queen size I had to put it on the bed with the stripes going in the opposite direction of the picture for it to drape more over the sides of the bed. When I put it the other way it was short on the sides. The last one I got from this company was an oversized comforter so I should have checked the dimensions and gone up a size. I have a 17" mattress with padding and a latex topper so if you don't have that much height you could stay with your regular size. For the price with the percent off sale on the day I got this it was even less than the comforter I bought almost 8 years ago and just as good in quality.

Tags say Pacific Coast Feather Company. Google it. Maybe factory seconds? Some stitching "defects" that don't affect quality. Check their website for care instructions, they explain everything. Amazing price for this comforter. Should buy one in every size and color. Seriously. Very generously sized, but I was still able to wash and dry a king size in my machines at home. Came out beautifully fluffy after three cycles in the dryer. Very few down feathers in the lint trap. Already too warm for this time of year in northern Maine however. Disappointed I'll have to put it away until fall. Love it. Ordered the grey and purple, (Paloma and Thistle if I remember correctly) and colors were exactly as shown. The purple is very light and does look almost grey, but when placed next to the grey was obviously a very light purple. Beautiful colors, soft fabric, and amazingly soft fluffy down. Worth every penny.

The only reason this gets a 1 is because of the color and one seem coming out. Otherwise this blanket really deserves a 5. This was such a hard review to write because I’ve fallen in love with this blanket. I have several sittings in the closet. The issue is the new puppy chewed on the corners of my blanket which took me forever to find. So now I have to find a new one and this has become it. I bought the Moonlight and it’s not dark brown like depicted. It is a very light brown. The dark brown would have matched my sheets. Also, one of the sew lines is coming out. The issue is the color depicted in the pictures is not accurate and I looked at this on 5 different computers before I bought it. I would have returned it but my husband opened it and threw it in the wash. So, I put it on the bed and fell in love with it. It is the perfect warmth and I live in MN. I am a hot person when I sleep so I usually throw the covers off during the night and I sleep with a light blanket. This one is I don’t, it keeps me at the right temperature and it’s comfortable. So alas I will end up taking this in to a seamstress and get the one line fixed since it’s hard to find that right blanket. As for the color it offsets the dark brown and gives a good appearance, I just would have preferred the darker brown with a dog.

Love this down blanket, perfect for winters in the south, very light weight and very warm. Down comforters are too bulky and hot for this area, and this blanket is machine wash and dry! I got a king size for my queen bed, plenty of coverage. Color true to picture, satin binding, I would definite recommend.

I was looking for a down "blanket" rather than a "comforter", since I live in South Forida. The stripes make this blanket look modern, and the color makes it look so soft and comfortable. And it is!!! Much cooler than a comforter, but heavy enough to comfort.

I purchased 4 of these blankets for my kids. I'm tired of all the things made these days being synthetic! THESE are not! They're cotton! They love them! I got full size so they could use them for a while. I got the light purple, the turquoise blue- which is a light blue green sea foam ish color, the grey, and the tan. The colors were pretty true to the image online- my phone just can't capture it. On receiving them they did have an odd smell and had to be washed before use; but who doesn't do that, send it said they would in the paperwork. It made them even more light and fluffy. (As shown inthe pics- fluffy and snuggly) *I use tennis balls in the dryer to help hot only dry but fluff it per the instructions of my down blanket that I've had for 10 years. Very happy with my first Overstock purchase!

This blanket is exactly what I wanted. Light weight yet so warm, perfect for year round being we keep our house cool in the summer. The down is nicely distributed and the material is nice quality. The color is slightly lighter than depicted in the picture as far as the two I ordered (blue haze and thistle) but that would not keep me from ordering again. I do plan on ordering another as a gift. The price is low for the quality of this blanket. Overstock never seems to disappoint me in quality or price.

I am so pleasantly surprised! Oversized King fits perfectly on king bed, hangs over perfectly. It is just the right amount of fill. Really a beautiful down blanket. The Blue Haze is exactly as pictured.

We bought this because our heavy winter down comforter is too warm in the summer. This new light weight one is perfect for sleeping with the air conditioning on!

We absolutely love this blanket. It is perfect for layering in the cold months or can be used alone in the summer months. Definitely a versatile all around blanket.

Warmth without weight and the material is so attractive I leave it without a coverlet. The quality is very good

Best blanket ever! So happy with this purchase , soft & very warm without being bulky on bed. I use on top of sheets & light cotton blanket in place of comforter & is perfect! Laundered beautifully & I have yet to see any feathers poke out! Would buy again & again!

Thought it would have better down built up though it feels thin and lacking in substance

I bought this blanket for my granddaughter for Christmas so I haven't done anything with it but take it out of the box to look at it. The blanket looks great but the color is not as dark as the picture showed which is what my granddaughter wanted. that's the only reason for 4 stars for now.

Very nice. I bought the gray blanket. It's a little heavier than I expected, which is fine. The fabric is quite think and dense. I expect it will get softer over time, and it isn't objectionably stiff, just a little heavier than I expected. Overall it seems to be very good quality.

I love it , It looks great
