  • A little piece of heaven on earth . . .

My search is over. This pillow is absolutely top quality, from construction to materials and the price is almost too good to be true. It plumps up so nicely and is so incredibly comfortable that it makes me smile just thinking about getting to go to bed and let my head sink down into this little piece of heaven on earth. I have had expensive down pillows before and they only ended up being marginally comfortable. Over the past year I have been on a mission to find the perfect pillow and think I have found it in this Milano Goose Down Pillow. In my search I have purchased 6 different supposedly quality pillows - ones filled with down, synthetic down, down/synthetic mix, memory foam and so on - only to be disappointed over and over again and left with a stack of horribly uncomfortable pillows contributing greatly to night after night of restless sleep. They are all now gone and replaced by this one gem. I haven't slept this good in years! I also bought the Milano Down Comforter offered here and it is just as heavenly! I was able to use both of them the first night as there was no smell at all right out of the bag. Quick, cheap shipping too - Thanks Overstock.com!

  • Perfect Pillows For fussy People

I spent along time trying to find which set of pillows would be right for me.I read all reviews and decided on these.Yes they do come/ arrive with the "wet dog" smell, but a long day on my wash line that went away.I was concerned the pillows would have a crunchy feel to them.I can't sleep on something that sounds like a tarp. They passed that test.I am a side, back and belly sleeper and this pillow passed all comfort tests for that.I choose not to put them in pillow cases so they would be more moldable? It works! For the ultimate pillow junky these are great.I will take them with me when I go on vacation as I've never found a decent pillow to sleep on even in 5 star hotels.A jumbo is about the size of a queen.Generally I dont like queen because I have this extra half foot sticking out the side and I find it hard to flip it and mush it into position, this pilllow stays once positioned and half doesnt get unused like other queen sized.Besides I can't stand another persons sneaky head coming onto the unoccupied portion. Not possible with this pillow as I can claim the entire pillow.I hope this helps as it is very difficult to by a pillow sight unseen.Just know when it arrives and it has the odor of wet dog you are getting the real deal and airing it out on a washline a day or so it will leave and not come back.ENJOY!

  • Down pillow

This pillow is WONDERFUL! I ordered a "firm" but it is still very comfortable. it conforms to my head and neck, does not leave me sweating like foam pillows. I will NEVER give up this pillow and can see I'll have to take it every where I go over night. 50% off was a terrific deal! Down pillows are THE way to go!

  • Great pillow, great price!

I have priced good Goose Down pillows in stores and they are always way out of my price range for just one pillow! Well, when I saw this one on Overstock, I decided to try it because the price was right. Boy am I glad I did because this is my new favorite pillow. My other Goose Down pillows that were bought for much higher prices seem like pancakes compared to this new one! I can honestly say that I sleep sounder and longer thanks to this pillow. I also have far fewer headaches. It's so fluffy and inviting that I can't wait to snuggle into bed at night. I plan to purchase several more!

  • Milano European 800 tc White Goose Down Pillow

This is the absolute most comfortable pillow I've ever laid my head on. These are worth the cost at twice the price. I bought these just about a year ago and still look forward to laying down and enjoying their comfort. They still have the same amount of support as when they were new. I loaned one to my daughter to try and immediately her neck pain subsided and she had a great night sleep. She is now ordering four for herself and husband.

  • Not good if you are already used to down pillows

I researched down pillows extensively as I needed to replace four that I already had. They are expensive so I was trying to find a deal. I read the reviews and ordered a case of these. I was very disapointed with these pillows. They flatten down too quickly and are heavy from having a pillow protector on the pillow (what would be a nice extra since a pillow protector is necessary with down pillows) but it was too much fabric and not enough down. They were too hard for what I am used to. I can't imagine that they are actually 650 fill power or else the quality of the down itself is poor. If you are used to sleeping on a good goose down pillow, you will be disappointed with this one.

  • ALMOST perfect...

When it came out of the box it DID smell like a wet dog, and still does, but i've only had it a couple of days, and it went a little flatter than i expected with the fill rating, but i put it in the dryer with 2 dryer sheets tucked into the outer case, and it puffed up a lot. then i layed it beside the "circle of down' pillows i bought here that i'm returning and laid on both together, and really felt the difference. this one is loftier, and and the reshapes better when fluffed each morning, and desn't flatten as much when you lay on it, and is much better quality down when you lay your head on it, not like the sack of sand i'm returning. the fabric wasn't as soft as i expected and there were some loose threads, a running theme w/down products from overstock i'm finding, and it could still use a little more down, but a few minutes in the dryer solves that. It was more expensive than i wanted for just one pillow, but i will still buy another so i can prop up with one for my back. i just hope they last a long, long time! if you're on the fence, i can tell you you'll hate the cheaper ones, so this is as close as you'll get to perfection without spending more, and the stats on th more expensive ones were the same as this one's. And i'm more picky than everyone else, so take that into consideration too. buy and enjoy..

  • I never dreamed I'd spend $70 on one pillow but now that I have, I can't believe I didn't do it sooner. This is the most comfortable pillow I've ever slept on; well worth every penny.

  • It smelled awful! And I wasn't very happy about the $5.00 restocking fee and the fact that I had to pay to ship it back as well!

  • My husband and I were extremely disappointed with these pillows. Not only were they less dense than other pillows with 650 fill power, but they also stank to high heaven! Needless to say, we're returning them.

  • Less than expected

Before buying I read the reviews about the musty smell. Thought the comments were a little wierd and bought anyway. But they do have a dank, musty smell that is very noticeable when your head is on the pillow -- although it has diminished quite a bit in the 2 weeks or so that I've had them. The pillows look great, good construction, good quality fabric, separate zipping covers, but in total comfort, they don't measure up to pillows that cost much less than these (and a fraction of the "original" price). Some reviews suggested that they were "too firm." For me, they weren't too firm but had a synthetic, bouncy foam pillow feel -- just the opposite to the moldable feel that you want in a down pillow.

  • Milano Goose Down Pillows

This pillow is the best, so comfortable and very high quality. I researched feather pillows online and this is by far the best value. I really like the removable cover which gives the pillow extra protection. When received they were a bit flat and had an odor so I popped them in the dryer on low for about 30 min. they puffed up so much it was hard to put a pillow case on, and the odor was almost gone. I've had them almost a month and put them in the dryer on air once a week to get max fluff and the odor is now gone. Definitely a 5 star product.

  • Worth the extra cost

I've had these pillows for about a month in a complete bed overhaul....going from comfy to ULTRA COMFY..... suffice to say I am very impressed by the quality of these pillows.....they come with a protective cover and they are very full. They don't flatten out when you lay on them and conform to around your head giving you nice loft. As with anything goose down you have to air them out for a day from the box but these are some of the best pillows available. I coupled these with 1000-1200tc Egyptian Cotton Sheets/Pillowcases, and even nicer pillows (1000tc ones here on Overstock). Suffice to say......My bed has no equal. Comfort to the Maximum.

  • My Honest Opinion-Not So Great

Though I looked forward to receiving this pillow, I was very disappointed when I did. The pillow was very flat and did not have much fill. When you put any weight on it, you immediately feel the hardness of the surface underneath. I even wonder if I received the same product as previous reviewers.

  • The pillows are great. We freaked out at first because of the smell of the long compressed and sealed down. The smell went away and the pillows are great. If you buy them just air them out for a rew days and the smell leaves

  • I have not been able to use the pillow yet because of the nasty smell that will not go away. I've aired the pillow for almost two weeks and there is still a foul (or should I say fowl) smell. Any suggestions?

  • This pillows are nice and big, and fluffy. However, they had a really bad odor right when I got them. I had to wait a couple weeks to let them air out, and they're fine now. ...not sure what the odor was. Smelled like packaging material, I suppose.
