This quilt is soft to the touch, very much like a woven cotton. The stitching and quality of the thread looks excellent, we'll see how it holds up over use and washings. It's light weight yet comfortable on a chilly night with a blanket. I purchased a king (Ivory) and the size is ample, the drop on each side is 22" and up to 38" at the foot of the bed. This extra length allows me to tuck and wrap the spread around our bed pillows at the head of the bed mimicking shams. I may not even use the matching shams. I would compare this quilt to a much more expensive product elsewhere. For those of you debating on what shade/color the spread actually is go to your local Sherwin Williams and pick up color sample SW 7013, Ivory Lace. My spread is a perfect match to this color sample. Hope this is helpful.
Wonderful sheets! Purchased Ivory 1st, then sage. These sheets are great but do need a "breaking in time" as is the case with most high TC bedding. Because they are thick heavy sheets you really need to wash them probably a dozen cycles to start feeling just how soft they become. I have similar quality white sheets, also Egyptian cotton, they have been washed multiple times the past yr & now are sooooo!!!! soft. What you're paying for is the density of weaving, that's what "thread count" means, to those not accustomed to this they may seem heavy & even a little scratchy at 1st. Once broken in, you'll love them & sleep so well you'll never go back and they will last for many yrs, they are an investment. RE: wrinkling issue, 1st they are cotton, 2nd launder as recommended, 3rd dry top & bottom sheets separately with a tennis ball in the dryer (old trick) that keeps them from "balling up", 4th fold & stack nicely; this should smooth out most of the wrinkles. I alternate my linens, touch up top sheet/ pillow cases with iron & my bed always looks & feels WONDERFUL!!! Overstock is great, prices can't be beat & customer service is fab. Invest in these linens, you'll be glad you did (WHAT'S MORE IMPORTANT THAN OUR SLEEP?)
Thankfully we haven't tested its waterproof qualities yet, but at least getting it on the bed wasn't an exercise in frustration like my last one. It doesn't seem to trap heat either, which is key as I sleep with two 75+ lb. fuzzy furnaces (one who sometimes "leaks" a bit in her sleep)! We need it as I don't want a new fancy foam mattress forever destroyed when my beloved pup has a seizure and ... well, you get the point. It's bad enough to worry about her, so why scramble for towels when one should be focusing on her needs, when a simple cover does the job? (Let's hope!)
This comforter placed inside the Duvet offers superior warmth. Tabs match perfectly and it eliminates the need for a top sheet. Very warm if you sleep in the buff, and allows you to lower the heat at night and stay warm.
Ok, I can't even begin to tell you how much time I spent reading reviews and researching a comforter that was going to meet my needs but most importantly, my requirements. I looked at both down filled and alternative down. I wanted the heavy, puffy, never want to get out of bed comforter. I went back and forth between a couple. All of them were Hotel Grand btw. The true down comforters were just not affordable and the reviews were less than stellar. I finally decided on this one, as it met all of my other requirements, due to two things. The thread count and the positive reviews. So, I ordered it. Shipping was excellent, it was my first item to arrive. It came in a tight square (CA King) but was heavy. I am extremely pleased with this comforter. It is warm and with time, a dryer, and some patience, it is the poofiest that one can be. My wife adores this. For the price, it cannot be beat. The 1000 thread count allows this to be very soft. It can be used by itself as it is that beautiful but we use a duvet cover due to the color and our dogs. Between chosing the 600 thread count or the 1000, although a small difference in price, I made the correct decision. Again, I spent days researching this purchase. Too many people with disappointed with the quality, lack of "poofiness", etc with their comforters. Not this one. It meets all of my needs and more.
Looking for a featherbed--This is the one!! I was leary when I received it and opened it up because of past experiences with purchasing other featherbeds. Not this one--they are not kidding when they say 5-inches thick it really is!! And to receive a cover sheet for that price-unbelievable.
Lay it out on your bed and slide your cover sheet on--it begins to instantly fluff up and rise. I pushed the sides in and the top and bottom in and up until it is piled up like a pyramid on my bed, I let it sit that way to air out and fluff up. It really works--I do this every other week to really fluff it up-- and believe me it responds.
I have to tell you that it is truly like sleeping on a cloud!! I had a friend who was store buying featherbeds for twice the cost and returning them because he was so dissatisfied. I told him to purchase this one and he loves it. He said,"Finally a featherbed that is all that it says it is...I cannot believe how comfortable this is." It is well worth the price..... and one comparable in quality would easily go for twice the price. If you have had similiar experiences with trying to find a good featherbed--Seriously!!---Look No More--This Is The One!!
I originally bought a set of these sheets in Cal King Medium Blue. I loved them so much that I bought two sets of the matching King pillowcases, and another sheet set and two more pillowcase sets in the Sage color. The 1500 TC pillowcase colors match the 1500 TC sheets perfectly, and are as pictured. Both Medium Blue sheets and pillowcases are a saturated medium blue color, although the Sage color is slightly less saturated than the picture on my monitor shows. Both Med Blue and Sage feel and look to be very expensive and high-quality. The sheets are very deep, and easily fit my 14 inch mattress with a mattress pad underneath, with room to spare. But People, PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH before you buy high Thread Count sheets. Don't give low reviews, or waste your money, simply because you were ignorant of what you were ordering. High TC sheets start out being heavy and a little stiff when you first open the package, but they soften up by washing and using them. The higher the TC, the heavier the sheets, so these sheets are heavy. Lower thread count sheets will be initially more pliable and more "airy" feeling, because there are fewer threads per square inch, so they actually are more airy since there is more air between threads. If you like light weight, airy sheets, get low TC or cotton-blend sheets. Initial softness in cotton sheets depend on the quality of the cotton used, and whether they have been pre-softened before you buy them. Having your sheets pre-softened means that they are usually more expensive, because of the extra time and processes involved. These sheets have not been pre-softened, so we are able to buy them cheaper than you would otherwise. Also note that all cotton sheets, especially higher TC sheets, WILL WRINKLE and take more time to dry! If you have multiple sets, which I recommend, fold the other set when it comes out of the dryer, putting your folded pillowcases between the bottom and top sheets so the weight naturally presses them, and put the set away. When you take them out to change sheets, the folded set will have lost most of the wrinkles. By alternating sheet sets, and folding the unused set, you shouldn't have to iron your sheets. If you are still unsatisfied with your minor wrinkles, or if you only have one set, you can iron your sheets if it really bugs you. These particular sheets are beautiful and have held up well after washing. They are exactly what you would expect from 1500 TC sheets, will last forever, and are far less expensive on the big O than elsewhere.
LOVE this bedding, it is beautiful. I'm using it as base decorative bedding with a duvet cover and bought both Khaki and Blue. The blue is not a grey/slate blue, nor a bright aqua, it is a muted aqua/turquoise/teal. I also ordered a Khaki, although it is lighter and more yellow undertone than I thought, it will still work with the duvet cover I'm using it with. I'm excited to put them all together!
This down alternative comforter surpassed my expectations. My apartment has heat included and tends to run warm, so I wanted something that wouldn't make me too hot. I don't overheat with it, but it protects me from the draft when I have to crack the window to control the temp in my apartment. Perfect!!!
The microfiber fabric is smooth and appealing; it isn't stiff and doesn't "crackle" like cotton sometimes does. The filling is very even---I've had down comforters with pockets that are practically empty, but this one's delightfully uniform. No cold spots! I absolutely love the down alternative, too---no feathers poking out of the cover! My mom got a lightweight down comforter from a catalog a year ago, and this one was 1/3 the price and every bit as nice. Exactly what I needed.
While talking to my Dad one day he was telling me how hard it was to find a 100% cotton blanket. I checked several sites and was impressed with the price of this blanket on Overstock.com. I found several on other sites that were 2-3 times more costly. I ordered one for him for Christmas and at this price I thought I should order one for myself as well. The order was delivered quickly. I opened one and was impressed with the texture and weave.
Prior to using it, I washed and dried it. Upon taking it out of the dryer, I was totally impressed with the way the blanked "thickened" up. It was easily 3 times thicker. I put it on the bed and am shocked at the weight of it and how warm it is. I like to sleep in a cold room but this blanket prevents that.
I am 100% satisfied with this purchase. If you are looking for a comfortable, high quality cotton blanket, buy this one. You won`t be disappointed.
***WARNING*** Clean your lint trap before drying. You will find a ball of lint about the size of a softball after drying this blanket. Of course I have a king size blanket.
Don't let the weight fool you. These comforters are very warm and very attractive if you want to use as a bed topper. I like them because they keep you warm and they are not heavy. I have bought 5 of these in the various beautiful colors.
I love love love this comforter! It's the perfect weight for us Southern gals. Not too hot and not too cold. Just right, like the Three Bears! Ha-ha. Seriously, you won't be disappointed with this product. The microfiber is so soft and I bought the king size for my queen bed for more coverage because of my large mattress. Buy it - you won't be disappointed.
I bought these towels for the master bathroom. I had nice towels in the guest bathroom but old ones in our master bath. These towels are very thick and plush. It is easy to dry off with them. The only thing of note is that when put in the dryer the first time, they produced LOTS of lint. I cleaned the dryer vent several times before the load was finished drying. I would recommend these towels to others.
First, I have to tell you that I am more picky than most people, especially when it comes to stuff that will touch my skin! My husband says I would have made a great Queen! I carefully read reviews looking for just the right comforter for our Master Bedroom. My husband and I had enjoyed the fluffy, soft covers during our stay at the Hampton Inn, and we wanted something very close to their white, soft comforter. I decided on the down alternative comforter, because I was afraid I might have allergies to real down.
I then started to narrow down the comforters that Overstock has to offer. I did not want to pay $400 for a comforter, like one would have to do for Hampton's bedding. We are pretty rough on our comforters, and I needed something more "disposable."
When this comforter came in the mail, I promptly took it straight to my extra-large capacity washer to give it a freshening wash, as I do not like the smell of a new piece of bedding, generally. I wanted to wash it in my detergent and fabric softener so that it would be fresh for the first night of use.
As one person previously reported, I got a small tear in the seam where the comforter rubbed against the agitator, apparently. I decided that this comforter, especially in a king size, is just too big to go in a home washer, and I think it really would be better to take it to a laundry mat or dry cleaner for cleaning. Otherwise, you are going to rub all kinds of tears in it.
I put it through 3 cycles in the dryer. It fluffed fine, but it takes a long time to dry all that filling inside. Now that my comforter was clean and fresh, I was ready to test it for comfort.
My initial feeling was that the material did not really seem as soft (at supposedly 700 thread count) as my 400 thread count sheets did. For particularly sensitive princesses like me, I thought it had just a tad bit of roughness to it, but nothing horrible. After sleeping with it for two nights now, I can say that it is wonderful. It does not make me itch or bother my very sensitive skin in any way. It is incredibly soft!
The weight of this comforter is about moderate. It is not too light or too heavy. We sleep under heavy air conditioning, and it definitely is wonderful to snuggle under it in the cool hours of the morning. It keeps you very warm without being really heavy on your body. I think it will be great in the winter here in Tennessee.
Like other reviewers, I will say that it runs extremely small. I put it on a Queen bed with thick mattresses, and it will not even cover from top to bottom of the mattress. It comes down on the sides just about to where the dust ruffle should start. I think you are going to have to find a thin spread or something to put over it if you want to have a good looking bed ensemble. It definitely does not cover my bed like I would like. I use it more like one would use a blanket. I have a more formal spread to put on when company comes.
So what is my bottom line? Even with all its shortcomings (mostly the size of it), I love it, and so does my husband. It is every bit as comfortable as the Hampton Inn's luxurious bedding. At this price, you can use it and replace it when it gets worn out. I am thinking about getting one for all my kids for their beds for the winter. They are so nice to wrap up in, and if you are worried about soiling the white comforter, I would recommend getting a comfortable duvet cover that can be taken off and washed periodically. For me, I think I will just take mine to the laundry mat when it needs washing and put it in their huge commercial washer. You don't have to do it that often, and it is a minor inconvenience to have this much plush, soft cover night after night. I urge you to go for it! I doubt you would be disappointed.
since this wasn't going to be exposed I was only worried about corner tabs and dimensions in relation to the duvet cover my son wanted. This is one of the larger king comforters and worked well. The box construction to keep the fill in pace and evenly distributed was also important to us. King size bedding can get pretty heavy so we also didn't want one that would be a huge pain to move/flip/etc.
I loved everything about this comforter! It was warm and light and soft and no feathers were poking through!! The only thing you should note, is if you have a deep mattress, you will need to get a larger size comforter. I have a queen size bed, but the queen size comforter looked funny because it didn't cover the whole mattress. So I put the queen size comforter on my guest bed which is a full size mattress, then I purchased a new comforter in a size King for my bed! I love it!! :)
I previously purchased a set of 1200 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets and wanted a spare set, so I purchased these ones expecting to be a bit dissapointed after the weight and feel of my other set.
When these sheets arrived the first thing I noticed was the hemstich detail and the color - which is amazing! It is actually much richer than shown in the photo. My husband and I love the color so much, we have decided to paint it on our bedroom walls which are currently a red I have loved for years. This color is not ordinary terracotta, but a redder richer, deeper color. (Not at all orangy) Very lovely with my Asian themed bedding set.
These sheets have just a hint of a sheen and are very study. I love the extra deep pockets - we have a pillow top mattress with a pad on it and these sheets fit over everything with no hassle.
I love the feel of the sheets against my skin and we have found that we don't need a blanket when the evenings are cooler; still the sheets breathe and keep us cool on warmer nights.
Compared to the 1200 thread count set, I honestly see very little difference and honestly I prefer these because of the color - so the original set has been demoted to extra set status.
I searched for at least a month to find a down alternative comforter that would be fluffy with thread count of at least 500. I was excited when I found this. I wanted an alternative to down because I didn't want to deal with the feather pricking my skin and the feathers possibly coming out. This product is just that. The filling is pretty consistent throughout. It didn't take many hours once I took the comforter out of the package for it to fluff up. It is very warm. I like to turn my air on and snuggle under the comforter. I definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking. I purchased because it was from the Hotel Grand Collection. I am thoroughly impressed and satisfied.
I am almost in shock! I have looked and looked and FINALLY found a "PERFECT" cotton blanket that does NOT leave lint balls all over it and your sheets, and has a tight enough weave that it does NOT pull when walked on by my 3 dogs! I washed it prior to using and there was just a little lint left in the dryer trap. I ordered it in the Ivory and have COME BACK TO ORDER both the Sage and the Camel. I sleep "hot" so a cotton blanket is the only kind I can sleep under! About 10 yrs. ago I found a cotton blanket that was not covered in lint balls when washed and had a weave tight enough that it did not snag. Unfortunately I only purchased one of them, and later could not find any like it. Since then I have been looking for and trying other cotton blankets, however, every one I have tried (at least 15) have left lint balls and/or pulled until I had to get rid of them! I am SOOOOO happy to have found this blanket! I will be donating all those horrible cotton blankets with pulls and lint balls, and will only be using this blanket! Thank you Overstock for offering such a fine quality cotton blanket!
My pillow shams measure 26 x 26 but in hopes of obtaining a full look, opted to try these 28 x 28 Euro Pillows. They filled them completely corner to corner without overfilling resulting in the pillow showing or bulging out of the back insert pockets. I am very pleased with this purchase and the appearance of my daybed pillows. If you have similar needs, you won't regret this purchase. The smaller pillows sized the same as the shams would not have filled them to capacity and would have resulted in disappointment.
This is a blanket. But not just any blanket. Most blankets keep you warm. This blanket transcends mere warmth to—"perfectly toasty." It's not too heavy, nor too light. If I was a marshmallow, I'd be golden brown after sleeping under this blanket.
At first, I thought it seemed a bit light, like it wouldn't be warm enough. Wrong. It's perfect. (I live in Georgia, but it gets surprisingly cold—and I'm from Colorado. This blanket is the perfect amount of warmth for Georgia winter.)
I got the cinnamon color. How many blankets do you know that are cinnamon colored? At least mine, that's how many. Color is awesome, matches the photos.
Ultimately, this blanket does blanket things. I'm very happy with my purchase.
I wanted a woven 100% cotton blanket with a tight enough weave to not snag easily and large enough dimensions to fit my king size bed comfortably, but without a price in the triple digits. This blanket is perfect! The diamond pattern is beautiful, and the color (I have ivory) is very nice. It's large enough - even after washing (cold) and machine drying (low) - to hang a good 8-10 inches over the sides of my bed, reach fully to the top, AND tuck in at the bottom. It's not loosely woven and doesn't seem to snag easily - our three dogs sleep in our bed, and after a few weeks' use the blanket still looks great. Soft and nicely substantial feel. Very pleased!
Excellent color & extremely softness of material. I had ordered 2 extra large body towels as I always found the "normal" bath towel never was large enough. The size of these large shower towels is unbelievable. It's been awhile since I've purchased new towels & I am delighted with this recent purchase! I suggest you give this item a try!!
So far, very pleased with purchase. It could be a tad softer, but I'm hoping after more washes, it'll be a little softer. I ordered the taupe color in a size medium. I'm 5'4 and approximately 120 lbs. It fits well - with room. I could have gotten a small, but I definitely didn't want it to be tight - I like a looser fit with bathrobes. Nice roomy pockets in the front and the tie is a great length. There's also the essential hook so it can hang easily on the back of the bathroom door, if desired. I would highly recommend it. Great value and a bathroom staple in my opinion!
I was so tired of my husband shifting all the covers to his side of the bed while I would cling to a skimpy side piece of the comforter. This oversized down comforter is long enough to tuck in at the bottom to keep it from being shifted and wide enough to hang over a full 12 inches so there is no need for him to pull it over to his side in the middle of the night. Yay! Finally warm and comfy.
These towels are exactly what you find in luxury five star hotels. They are thick and soft, and the large size makes them almost like a wrap when getting out of shower or bath. The deluxe thickness quickly draws moisture away from the body leaving the surface of the towel almost dry. They launder beautifullly. I have washed mine twice and they grow softer and more pliant each time. The color is vibrant and true and has remained so with laundering. Great addition to a guest bathroom, or for that little touch of luxury for yourself. You won't be disappointed!
Used this to cover a winter set and it looks amazing. My bed is black so the blue compliments well. It's very dark. Material is nice and soft to the touch. Not cheap and thin. It isn't see thru( one of my main concerns and fits my comforter perfectly. Will definitely buy another
I have severe back issues and have spent thousands of dollars buying mattress set after mattress set trying to find one that would allow me to sleep through the night with minimal pain, and be able to stand up in the morning without so much pain that I have trouble walking. My last ditch effort was to try a mattress topper. I tried the memory foam and it was worse than any mattress I had slept on. I recently received this mattress topper and have slept through the night every night since. I would recommend it to anyone who has gone through what I have experienced over the past seven years with back pain. I also have allergies and cannot use the down filling, so the down alternative is a perfect match for me. It fluffs right back up after sleeping on it overnight, and is so comfortable I don't want to get up in the morning. I say - go for it! You won't be sorry!
From the moment, this purchase arrived, we could tell that they focused a lot of attention to details as it was packed beautifully in what looks like a gift box. What was inside the box is even better thought through as this mattress protector is incredibly soft, while at the same time water proof beyond our belief. We double tested this, because we were skeptical about this claim and we were not interested in our kids or dog ruing our latex mattress. When we poured water on the surface, we discovered that this really was a mattress protector as the water balled up on top, refusing to soak down to the mattress. This product is everything they claim and then some. We are now total believers and wanted to share our experience.
i'll start with the good. The comforter was so warm and cozy, the
perfect amount of warmth and weight. With our old down comforter I
would wake up sweating in the middle of the night, with this one I had
a comfortable night's sleep. And for the price, I felt the quality was
The reason we got this comforter was because my husband is very
allergic to down and so I looked for something down-alternative. After
one night's sleep my husband woke up unable to breathe and now we
cannot use the comforter. I could not figure out why until I noticed
this morning that it says this down-alternative comforter contains
down! I feel this is false advertising. IMO down-alternative means NO
down. This is why I gave it four stars instead of 5. I loved it, but
now we cannot use it. So if you're looking for a down comforter, this
is great! If you are allergic to down do not buy this product.
Have contunued to purchase all our linen from Overstock.com due to the excellent quality of all Egyption Cotton Sets of thread count over 1000. I needed larger pillow cases to match my prior purchase of sheets from Overstock.com and was pleased to find this set of oversize pillow cases to fit our large pillows. Once you buy and use any of these 1000 to 1200 thread count egyptian cotton linen you will never settle for anything less. The price is right and comfort for my bed where we all spend 25% to 33% of our day is worth spending a little extra to me. Overstock.com makes the savings and value make me feel great the other 75 plus percent of my day.
When I received this comforter, I was disappointed that it is not as fluffy as my former down comforter. Other reviews made this point, but I would like to make it very clear that this will be warm and insulated, but not a "fluff cover". The fabric is very nice, however I plan to cover with a duvet so the fabric won't be directly touching my skin. The price was right for me, and I won't go through the hassle of returning, but I advise those interested in creating that "sleeping on a cloud" feeling to look elsewhere. Perhaps I should have sacrificed the overall fabric quality for increased plush. I had to go with the down alternative this time, but I know that Bed Bath and Beyond has a down alternative comforter that is quite fluffy. Hope these thoughts are helpful.
These towels are perfect for the person that doesn't want to use a 6 inch thick bath mat to dry off with. They are not too thick, not too thin. Very luxurious without being so thick that you can't wash more than 4 towels at a time in the laundry or use them to wrap up your hair. When washing for the first time, a TREMENDOUS amount of lint does come out of them in the dryer. I had to stop the dry time midway to clean out the lint trap. I was worried there wouldn't be any towel left! But alas, there were still soft just right towels when the cycle was finished.
I bought this not because it's organic cotton but this was perfect size white foot Matt in our bathroom. I thought it's a bit too fancy to go with organic cotton for FOOT but surely it's luxury. Nice and soft feel.
I'm redecorating our master bath to be a little more elegant and spa-like. I saw a picture of exactly how I wanted the room to look and it had a similar shower curtain. Couldn't find one locally so I hopped on Overstock and voila! There it was! Can't wait to get the room done now so I can enjoy this. It has a nice texture and weight like it belonged in a posh hotel.
This is a gorgeous blanket, soft, just the right weight, fits my bed perfectly. The only thing to watch out for is if you have a cat, it snags easily. First night on my bed and I had to cover it with another blanket because my cat has already snagged it everywhere with her claws. Really nice blanket, though. Great quality and a lovely weight for spring/summer.
I read the reviews before I bought this and everyone said that it was very thin. I guess I didn't know how thin they were talking. This is the thinnest down comforter I've ever seen. Like, half an inch thick-MAYBE. However, I really like it. I put it on my bed right when we got it... I can't believe how warm it is! This paired with flannel sheets is more than warm enough I dont think I will being using a "winter down".
I can't tell you how happy I am with this sheet set. It is not only unbelievably soft and comfy but it also looks gourgeos on the bed. The fit is excellent and the color is exactly as shown. It is definitely worth spending extra for a higher thread count number. In fact I am going to purchase another set for myself.
For years I have purchased pricey "luxury" sheets from a linen warehouse store, but they can't compare to these. Soft as can be, and these really don't wrinkle much. Best of all, they truly DO fit an extra-deep mattress that is topped with a 3-inch memory foam--no more struggling with that fitted sheet! Not only are these better than what I had been using--they're also cheaper! An excellent value.
Sealy Posturepedic 300 Thread Count Egyptian Cotton Waterproof Pad. I have purchased this pad in the past and very satisfied with product. I especially like the material on the side panels, they seem to hold to the bed without stretching material out.
I bought 3 sets of these. All 3 sets came in great condition and have no complaints in how they fit or zip up. Make no noise or anything of the sort while fiddling around in the middle of the night with the pillows neither! Would definitely recommend!
I've never been disappointed in Overstock products--the occasional bad guess on sizing apart--but their quality towels are actually overwhelming. Thick and creamy-textured, these "hand towels" are big and comfortable enough to wrap up a baby. If spa life is your style, these are for you. Humble couple that we are, I think we are constantly surprised by picking up a substantial cloud when we were just thinking "towel." But, you know, luxury is very easy to get used to. And we're getting used to it.;-)
I started my search for a mattress pad and thought nothing but a feather down mattress pad would give the the comfort I was looking for....but given the reviews of many other EXTREMELY expensive mattress pads, I opted for the the Sleep Philisophy Harmony Mattress Pad and am SO HAPPY with my purchase. There is a noticeable difference in the comfort of my bed now -- light and fluffy...like sleeping on air. I have a King Sized Sleep Number Bed -- the pad fits snug and perfect! The only smell I noticed was when I initially took it out of the plastic bad (I blame the bag, not the mattress). That smell dissapated soon after removing it from the bag, so no worries there. I haven't washed it yet, but I expect it will wash fine as the material appear to be good quality. I highly recomend.
I don't like to get too personal with my reviews, but things have been spiralling out of control in my life as of late. I had little hope, still less sleep. Enter the Sealy Posturepedic 300 Thread Count Temperature Regulating Hypoallergenic Down Alternative Pillow. What a slight change in quality of existence! For the better! Nice and soft, gently rocks my tortured mind to sleep before I fall into the dark abyss of my nightmares. If I'm going to wake with screaming night terrors, at least I am comforted by the Sealy Posturepedic 300 Thread Count Temperature Regulating Hypoallergenic Down Alternative Pillow upon waking knowledge of my dark situation. Five stars!
Thanks to someone else's review stating that the blanket came in more a lilac color than a grey color, I decided to ordered some. Yes, they are more purpleish than grey and I love them. The weight is great for the summer months. I was using another cotton blanket that had a looser weave and my two pomerians dogs were creating little pulled out threads. These blankets have a tighter weave and after a month of use, I do not see any pulled threads. I am pleased with these blankets.
Bought two of these pillowcase sets in the King size and Medium Blue color, and two sets in the King size and Sage color. The colors match the 1500 TC sheets perfectly, and are as pictured. Both Medium Blue sheets and pillowcases are a saturated medium blue color, although the Sage color is slightly less saturated than the picture on my monitor shows. Both Med Blue and Sage look very expensive and high-quality. They are large pillowcases that fit my king size pillows well, with a little room to spare. These particular sheets and pillowcases are beautiful and have held up well after washing. They are exactly what you would expect from 1500 TC sheets, will last forever, and are far less expensive on the big O than elsewhere.
When I first opened them, I wasn't sure About them. They looked really shiny and I hadn't realized that they had so much polyester in them but I decided to keep them. They looked better once I washed them. They are soft to sleep on and fit our deep mattress without riding up. They are a little slippery and sometimes the top sheet and coverlet slide off. Overall, they weren't what I expected but I am pleased that the polyester doesn't make them hot to sleep on.
I was very pleased when I received the blanket. It was just what I needed to dress up the look of the bedding. It is well made and the satin binding sets it off beautifully. It's soft to the touch and the blue color is just the right shade. Overall, I'm extremely well pleased with this purchase. .
