Ellen DeGeneres Nomad Duvet Cover

I had been shopping for quite some time for a new duvet cover and matching pillow shams and when I saw this on display at a store, I loved how it looked. The reason I am only giving the set 4 stars is because I was disappointed to find that there are no ties inside the duvet cover to keep the down comforter in place and the pillow 'shams' are more like pillow cases, they do not close with a zipper or buttons like all the other duvet sets I have purchased in the past. At this price point, I expected that the duvet cover would have something to secure the comforter in place and actual shams that have a closure. That said, it really does look good on our king size bed.

I was eyeballing this duvet cover for a long time. I love the colors, however it is dark - darker than it appears in the pics I posted. We are going to be purchasing a new bedroom set with a much lighter wash on the wood and I think it will look a lot better than it does with the dark cherrywood bed that we currently have. The reason I only gave it four stars is because it doesn’t have duvet hooks to hold the comforter in place, and the wrinkles are ridiculously hard to get out. I even ironed it (which was a pain considering it is a king size) and the wrinkles didn’t really come out. The material on the top is not very soft, it kinda feels like painted canvas. I’ve had it for only two months and am hoping with time and more washes it will soften up a bit. Overall I’m happy with it, I just wish it had hooks and was a little softer and cozier.

This duvet cover is understated yet elegant. It goes nicely with our blankets and curtains. The weight of it is nice and it looks like it will wash well. Very well constructed. So pleased with our purchase!

I loved another of ED’s sets so when i saw this one in colors that already coordinated with my bedroom, i went for it! Disappointed for a few reasons. Reason number one is this duvet cover doesn’t have ties to keep the duvet in place. Reason number two, unlike my other ED set this one does not come with the matching shams, which add $** to the price tag. I’m keeping it because i already went through the trouble of ordering all of the coordinating throw pillows.

Colors are exactly as shown. Nice heavy fabric that lies well, even without the comforter inside. I bought a king size for my queen bed. It hung just a little long so I turned it sideways and turned down the top. I love the look.

these are horrible duvet covers. save your money and buy a different brand

this is very nice and beautiful and 100% cotton. I bought one for each of my adult sons. They love them. My only negative feedback are this: that it comes in a cute little matching tote but the product labels are tiny stitched to the front and back of the tote rather than some easy to peel off adhesive. Makes it very challenging to reuse as a nice lunch tote or beach bag It's gonna take quite some time to remove those. Also not even one sham ?!

This bedding set is high quality. Looks great against the light gray walls in my son's room
