I bought this to accent the bed in the master bedroom. The room is painted a sage green and the comforter has blue and pink flowers. Everything will be off-white and accented with pink and blue pillows.
I purchased both a king and a queen so that I could make pillows and a bed skirt from the queen. Both of them are way too small. The king doesn't even cover the mattress AND it comes with 2 standard pillow shams, not king shams. I check the queen on my other bed, and that's way too narrow as well. Do yourselves a favor and don't purchase these. You will only be disappointed.
The king size quilt barely covers a king bed. Doesn't even cover mattress on both sides of bed so there's a gap showing mattress. Pillow shams are not king size.
I really wanted to love this quilt, but it's just not wide enough for my king bed. I do have a high mattress, so I have to be careful that the dimensions are good. This one wasn't wide enough, but the length was fine. I really do like the pattern and the weight, so we're keeping it and learning to be ok with it. I should have paid closer attention to the dimensions that were listed.
