Eddie Bauer Lightweight 400 Thread Count White Down Oversized Blanket

This blanket with its natural fibers breathes. With its lightness it is perfect for summer air conditioned bedrooms or couches. It will transition well into fall and winter. The down does not shift but stays in place. No more waking up with a polyester fiberfill comforter that overheats me. I bought this because it was a continual problem. This down is washed and my allergy asthma has no problem with it!! A peach of a product!!

This is a very high quality blanket. The fabric is soft and luxurious--no crinkley sound. The down is very evenly distritbuted, and overall it is very nicely finished. I'm putting it inside a duvet cover, but it would look nice on it's own. It's the perfect weight for Palm Springs winters, and the king size is very generous. I had just ordered and returned another blanket for the same price from a major name brand down compay that was very poor quality--thin, stiff fabric and unevenly distributed down--some squares were empty, and messy stitching. I've owned lots of Eddie Bauer products (clothing, shoes, coats, down comforter, feather pillows, etc.) and have never been disappointed in the quality. Too bad the company quit making these blankets. I'm glad I got one!

This has become our favorite comforter. We go European style with no top sheet. And we don’t Use a duvet cover because we don’t like the weight. When we wash the sheets, we wash the comforter and it take frequent leading and tumble drying (on permanent press) really well.The comforter is great on moderate to cold nights and the size size means we aren’t fighting over it! It is as described with a lovely white on white design. I recommended it to my sister and she lives hers too!

This goose down blanket is super soft and oversized. It is just the right weight for all year round use. It is a gift for my mom to replace the current goose down blanket we've had for about 15 years. This one is good quality and I expect we will be using it for years to come. I wish it came in other colors because I would buy more!

I was looking for a lightweight summer blanket and this is perfect. My cotton blankets now feel too heavy. I use a warm down comforter in winter, and this has the same light comfort. It is well made and I like the white color.

The fabric cover of the blanket is also good quality. This is a baffled blanket, which means all the down is stitched into squares so that it wont sift down to one end. I would highly recommend this.

I have a down blanket that is just right, not too hot or cold. Wanted a white one and this is the best. Eddie Bauer is the master of down and this blanket has it all. Over sized, high quality, and construction. Beautiful fabric. Down is sown through and doesn't shift. A steal on sale.

It has a nice fabric cover with a slight sheen to the "dot pattern. Down blankets are so versatile as they can be layered in winter and used alone in summer. It appears to have a good quality filling-and maybe not as "crackly" as some new down comforters are.. don't know as we have not yet used it. Wish it were not made in China but that's why it's reasonably priced, right?

This blanket is awesome! I purchased this to replace the heavy weight down comforter that we had been using. It is light weight, but still warm enough to use along. I love that the fabric has a little pattern instead of being solid, plain white. I am very happy with this purchase!

This is a beautiful down blanket. It is soft and the pattern woven into the fabric is beautiful. I have to say that this isn't warm at all. I'm disappointed in it. It serves as a light, light, weight blanket at best. For the money I would have to say it's not worth saying it's a down blanket. I purchased the queen for a double bed, so the only way I can use this and get the warmth I want is to fold it over. By doing this it covers just to top of the bed. I can't recommend this blanket.

The absolute best down blanket! Purchased 5 of them for each bedroom in our family summer home. We use them as inserts for our duvet covers. They are the perfect weight for spring, summer and fall sleeping. Highly recommend.

I bought 2 of these and love them. Great weight to add to bed for Winter and perfect weight for warm Summer months. I have washed them a couple times and they still look and feel like new.

I bought this comforter to replace one I bought a month ago that I was unhappy with. This comforter or really blanket is the perfect weight. It keeps us warm but not overly hot. I don’t like heavy things on top of me while sleeping and this isnt at all. The oversizing is perfect not huge but generous. I’m thrilled with this down blanket in every way

This is the Perfect down blanket! I purchased a king size and found it to be quite generous in size. It’s lightweight and is perfect for the climate found at the beach in Southern Delaware. The cotton Damask covering is so comfortable against your skin mainly because it is a natural fiber which breathes. The stiching keeps the down from shifting unevenly. The edges have a crisp and clean piping edging on all sides. I’m actually thinking of buying another down blanket in a queen size for my guest bedrooms. This is a real winner and you won’t regret this purchase! Sweet dreams.

Beautiful and light weight, suitable for Texas winter. When I layer a black jacket on it left pieces of down allover it, I did not notice down flying in my room though.

This is the perfect weight for nearly year-round in south Texas. Warm but not heavy. Perfect southern choice where its either cold from A/C in the summer or cold (more like raw) from winter. The fabric is crisp and does not look rumpled - layers well with flannel sheets and fleece. After two weeks of use, no evidence of feathers or down poking through. Especially good are dimensions for queen bed - longer and wider than other full/queen comforters and blankets. Gives a very clean, smart look to the bed after making it.
