Bought them for my 98 year old grandmother and she loves them. That is where the excellent rating comes from because that was who they were meant to be for. I tried them and they were to hard for me but I sleep with my head buried in a down pillow with my arms pinned under my stomach which my husband says is a "little weird" so I'm staying out of the rating.
These pillows came in a huge box and I was afraid they might be TOO plump, because I am a side-sleeper and tend to "hug" my pillow. Putting the pillowcase on was a little daunting, but I managed just fine. I also have peripheral neuropathy in my hands and feet, causing them to get cold and then get "prickly" and have always used a "toe tent" to keep the heavy quilts off my feet. However, they get cold way down there and you can't tuck the covers in with the tent. I got a bright idea and tucked in my sheets and placed one of the pillows under the top sheet at the foot of my bed (it has no foot board) and the sheet held it in place. That first night really surprised me...I could rest the bottoms of my feet against that nice warm and plump pillow and my feet were warm, but the pillow didn't squish over my toes to make them uncomfortable. I was so happy and excited for this solution that I could barely get to sleep, but the next night I was out like a light and never woke up with my feet or hands in pain. Who knew that the right pillows could be almost medicinal! Thank you Angel Soft pillows!
These are nice pillows. Seem fairly comfortable. They were bought more for decorative look to fill additional cases si can't really rate the comfort. But the cats love em.
Great pillows! My husband and I have various categories to describe the 9 pillows we use on our king bed. There are Squishies; which are cluster puff, down alternative type pillows. Flatties; which are firmer, older pillows that were once good for side sleeping. And Crunchies; which are genuine feather/down pillows. Please keep reading... We always fight over the "Squishies" because they layer nicely for side sleeping and are perfect for back and belly sleeping on their own. Both of us have back problems (I have had double knee surgery & currently have a torn shoulder too) so we are picky folks when it comes to pillows. These are very good quality cluster puff style down alternative pillows. They fit in a standard top loading washer and have retained their "squishy-ness" well. It is often hard to find the perfect pillow in stores. We struck gold here and will order more when we change these out for freshness. A very good buy!
