There is a huge design flaw to this shower rod. It is heavy and does not have enough support from just the wall and ceiling mount; it needs something else on the side. The rod broke within a year
I had high hopes for this shower curtain, but the connection joints are super flimsy and tend to pull apart after opening and closing the curtain a few times. It looks nice, but the way it is made sets us up for failure. It should be one piece, not several pieces joined together with connectors.
You couldn't pay me to use this again. The straight bar was too long for assembly, and our builder had to cut it shorter to even get the item assembled as instructed. It was also very flimsy. We had to add self tapping screws on the wall flanges and a joint to get it to stay together.
So, if you can spend more to get a higher quality shower rod, do it. We put this in our guest bathroom, which rarely got used before the pandemic. Even with a handful of times being used, it bent at the union joints where the bars connect. It's not so much the quality of the materials, but rather the design. I don't recommend.
Looks great but have problems keeping the pieces from sliding apart
We had a difficult time locating this shower rod locally and was happy to have found on & purchased through Overstock. Great price & Has held up well
I still use it but it does require a little more support, and this is due to the rough use pulling on it.
It was as described but didn't fit my tub correctly. It's not too difficult to put together but it felt flimsy when put together. I think if it was used in a bathroom without much use it would be okay but not for high use showers.
Rod is everything described & after numerous attempts to get it fastened to the wall and the center drop correct it works perfect. The only negative was the instructions & it should have a diagram to put up with hole locations for drilling especially into tile.
