  • High Thread Count Sheets 101

These sheets are excellent. Very substantial weight and excellent feel if you like thick sheets. No issues with shrinkage so far on my fairly thick California King bed with a 3" foam topper. I like the stiffness versus flimsier ordinary sheets, and I never use fabric softener. I did not need to wash them any more than once either. For those that have reviewed these and other high thread count sheets poorly, most of you seem to miss a simple fact. High thread count sheets are always going to be stiffer and heavier than low thread count sheets. This should be obvious. If you want a sheet that easily conforms to your body and is lightweight, just go to your local department store and get a twenty or thirty dollar set of 150 or 200 thread counts sheets, which is the thread count of most cheap sheets you find in stores. The "Percale" designation only requires a thread count of 180. If you're getting a sheet set that is 3 1/2 to 5 times more dense than what you're used to, do you really expect it to feel just the same? The same is true for wrinkles. I don't get why anyone who isn't photographing their house for a magazine cares about whether their sheets are wrinkle free, but again a low thread count sheet will be much less likely to have any wrinkles because it's made of a thin flimsy fabric that can easily be smoothed out. If you don't like these sheets, odds are you won't like any high thread count sheet. If you had or have some other sets you believed were high thread count but they aren't heavy at all or stiffer than low thread count sheets, you probably have lower thread count sheets that were mislabeled or simply misrepresented.

  • Nice sheets

Once the sheets arrived, I was surprised at how soft they were. The last set of sheets I bought were a 1000 count set, and it took about 6 washes before they were as soft as these 750 thread count right out of the bag. And these were about $40 less and came with 4 pillow cases. Great deal, I'd say. Plus the color is very rich and looks great. I bought the chocolate color and love it.

  • Queen 750 ct sheets

I received these for Christmas. I just washed & dried them. cold water. I took them out of the dryer while still tumbling and they are extremely wrinkled. Got them on 3 corners of the bed and had to fight to get the last corner on. If I could I would exchange them for another brand. I am dissapointed.

  • Disappointed

We were really disappointed in these sheets. They were not soft at all, as other high thread count sets have been (in my experience).

  • Shrank after one washing? Almost won't fit?

Received a California King. Fit loose at first. One washing and one needed to be a muscle man to fitted sheet on. Not looking forward to next time. Very dissatisfied with this product.

  • Very Disappointed

When I took them out of the package they felt pretty good, soft/smooth, then I washed them and it all went downhill from there. Very stiff/rough, had to pull them really hard to get them to fit over the Cal King mattress, not even a pillowtop. The second wash was even worse about fitting across the bed in size. Just wanted a good average sheets but did not find with these.

  • Terrible Sheets

I was excited when I ordered these 750 thread count sheets. I love nothing more than to cuddle up in a nice cozy bed at night on great sheets. When they arrived they felt heavier that I expected and I don't buy cheap, low thread count sheets, so this was somewhat unexpected. I washed them hoping the texture would improve. It didn't. The sheets barely fit on our 14 " pillowtop mattress. One corner shows stress now and will probably rip before it is time to wash the sheets. The sheets feel like denim. They are very scratchy and not at all what I expected. I am very, very disappointed in this purchase. I have purchased 600 thread count sheets that were much better quality than these sheets. Don't waste your money on this set.

I puchase these sheets based on the thread count, price and overall good reviews. Please don't be fooled! I've washed this set 3 times and it's still wrinkly and hard! It feels like crinkled paper! i will probably never use these sheets. I can't even donate this set to good will because it's so poorly made! If you want decent sheets, purchase the Andiamo 500tc sheets from overstock. Soft, comfortable, and cheaper than this set!

I had such high hopes for these sheets that i purchased 2 sets. I am returning the set I didnt open. They came out of the wash very hard/rigid and WRINKLED. No amount of washing or fabric softener will help them. They feel thick, but not soft at all and not comfortable. The wrinkles are uncomfortable against your skin. I will keep trying to wash them and hopefully they soften up over time, but I am disappointed in them. Too bad! Beware!

  • Avoid.

I am quite disappointed. These say they're made of cotton, but feel like plastic. They are literally noisy to lie in. And this is after I washed them. I consider this a total loss of money. My suggestion is to avoid these.

  • Not to sure

I order 2 sets of these sheets. One king size for my son's bed (Christmas present) . One queen for my bed. Before putting on my bed. I washed them on the gentle cycle in cold water, tumble dry low cycle. These sheets are extremely wrinkled. I have a a very deep mattress. They shrunk so bad. I could not use them on my bed. Maybe my other son can use on his bed. Very disappointed

  • Too Small - Disappointing

We don't have a thick mattress, but these sheets *barely* fit our queen size bed. It took lots of tugging, and we had to take the fitted sheet off to make sure we'd put it on the right way the first time. It was just too small. I only buy my linens from and have had good luck ever since I can remember, but these just didn't fit and I'm so disappointed.

  • dissapointed

I ordered these sheets and thought for 750 thread count it was a good deal, well you get what you pay for... these sheets are the ruffest 750 count sheet I ever came felt and I have a normal size queen bed (no big pillow top) and the fitted sheet fits extremely tight. My first dissapointment from overstock

  • Soft and Warm

I was searching for affordable high quality sheets and I certainly found them when I made this purchase. The sheets arrived a day later than expected but overall were in good condition upon arrival. These sheets are so warm and cozy I would recommend them to anyone. I love cuddling in them every night.

  • Was not impressed
    Verified Purchase

I purchased these sheets in search of high quality sheets to go with my new comforter set. I ended up returning the sheets because the color of the sheets was significantly darker than what they appear in the picture. I bought them in chocolate. Also the sheets are really heavy and felt a bit rough to the touch. I ended up buying a slightly cheaper 400 count set. Beware of Overstock returns. Even though the original shipping is very cheap, all returns are on shoppers dime. And returning a rather heavy set of sheet was not cheap – about $$$. What a big waste of money it was.
