Copper Grove Salamonie Vibrant Solid-colored Microfiber and Cotton Quilted French Tile Bedspread

I have looked for a long time for a bedspread for our queen bed. I didn't want a comforter set where a bedskirt was necessary. I wanted a bedspread that covered mattress and box spring and sideboards of the bed frame. This spread fits the bill perfectly. It does not go to the floor because we have an especially high mattress but that's okay with me. It's not too heavy but heavy enough for added warmth in the winter. It will be fine for summer use as well. It is sturdy and well constructed. The pattern even makes it easy to make the bed each day, lining up the edge of the pattern to the edges of the bed. It is well made, pretty, true to the color in the picture on the website, and large enough to generously cover both the bed and the pillows. At last I don't need to have pillow shams to make my bed look finished.

I have been looking for a King size French Tile bedspread in Buttercream for nearly a year. I have searched every website I could find and only found one place that had the king in buttercream, but it was over $***. I almost bought it, but kept looking. We finally replaced our bedroom carpet and it was time to get the new bedspread. I kept looking on O.com and suddenly it was available.... with my coupon over Labor Day 2013, my total was only $**. and free shipping. It arrived shortly and I just wasn't sure about it. Other reviews had said that it definitely came to the floor and was an oversized King. Well, not on MY bed. We have a 14 inch king mattress and 5 inch box springs on the bed frame... This bedspread is a good 5-7 inches off the floor.... So, I got a dust ruffle to go under it. Well, I didn't like that look and decided that I like the bedspread alone where it stops at the cherry side rail. I rated this good instead of excellent only because it does NOT come to the floor for my bed. I still wasn't sure, but after the carpet was installed and the furniture all put back, I was able to make the bed with some new throw pillows... and the bottom line is that I LOVE IT!!!! It is a very soft, soothing look and feels like a tranquil place. The bedspread is light-weight but has a very rich appearance. I don't usually like microfiber, but this is wonderful.

This is exactly what I was looking for. It has a beautiful quilting pattern, soft color, light weight but warm. Best of all it is large enough to fit my king bed. I have a very deep mattress (20 in) on top of the frame and bed, it is 120" wide x 118 " long. It hangs nicely on each side but doesn't drag the floor. I will order another one because of above and it is so well priced.

I bought this in burgundy - queen size. To me the photo is a little more red than the actual bedspread which has a brown hint to it. It is gorgeous though. I washed it as soon as it arrived in cold water with a cup of white vinegar in a front load washer then hung it out to dry. It came out very nice with the exception that one of my husbands white socks was in the washer. I have lint on it now - amazes me how much one sock can do. So with that I caution you to wash this bedspread with nothing else. I would buy this again without a doubt. The quality is incredible. I have showed it to some friends and everyone is amazed at the quality. It is made in China where I would like to have purchased USA made but there was no way to tell until it arrived. I have perused the internet occasionally over the past 5 years looking for just the right bedspread and this one could not have been better or suited where I put it any better than it does. I have a rug on the floor that has a lot of red - probably maroon??? since it for sure is not burgundy now that I see a burgundy bedspread with it. At first I was not sure about the color in the room but the more I see this bedspread the more I like it. The bed makes up easy with it, it is warm but not heavy. The quilting stitching design throughout is just beautiful. My bed is about 27 inches high and the quilt hangs about 4-5 inches from the floor on either side which is perfect for vacuuming. I think it fits perfect and I do not need pillow shams as the spread is long enough to wrap over the pillows. update on this bedspread 6/2017 - I still love it and it is as beautiful as it was when it arrived not showing any signs of deterioration or flaws! I just ordered one in sage for my mom

I have purchased 3 of these French Tile bedspreads in different colors and have been very pleased with them all.They are great for an all season bedspread and the colors are true to the pictures.

This bedspread the colors were vibrant and the cotton Quilted French tile really enhance my bed however the bedspread was a little to short. However I don't know if it my bed to high off the floor with all of that I enjoyed the bedspread anyway.

I do like this spread. Our king size bed has a thick mattress and it has been difficult to find a spread that will cover the sides, not exposing the box springs. This does that and more. The color is as my display screen showed it, and the pattern being french tiles on top and different at the ends, helps my husband make the bed correctly. The quality is good, it does not show wrinkles. i was hesitant to order, as I do like natural fabrics, but this looks and feels like a soft cotton, not poly.

Nice quality, very lovely. Hard to find bedspreads 120x118 that are this nice.

I ordered the King size for my Cal King bed. This spread is huge and just as in the picture, drops down to the floor. It's softer than I expected. I usually buy cotton products only, never polyester, but this bedspread is very soft. Nice purchase.

I ordered a queen size French Tile Bedspread for use on my extended/olympic queen size bed (about 6 inches wider than a normal queen). Usually I have to purchase king size quilts to fit, but after reading other reviews (and the item description...what a concept!) it seemed like the king would be too large. The queen size fits perfectly. There's about a 6 to 8" clearance between the quilt and the floor around the sides. I purchased the blue color, and the color in person was pretty close the color on my monitor. I have already washed the spread once, and it seems to have held up well. I'm considering ordering a second spread for future use! Thank you Overstock.com!

I've used this bedspread for months before writing this review. The color came rich and has stayed that way through several washings. I have two cats and a Min Pin, so this had to be durable ... and it is! Withstood several washings without beading or fuzzing. The stitching has held in place. There are no stray strings or exposed sewing threads. Great buy!

This bedspread exceded my expectations! The color is perfect (I got the blue) and the quality is superb. I have a small dog and haven't noticed her nails messing up the stitching so far. I would highly recommend this if you like light bedding that doesn't get hot. I love how it fits on my queen bed as well.

I, too, was looking for a bedspread for a guest room that looked elegant, but was comfortable. I am very happy with the bedspread. I bought the blue spread/full and the sizing is wonderful. I have tried desperately to find the pillow shams pictures with it, but have had no luck!

I know that the supposed "classy hotel look" is very popular -- with the coverlet pulled up flat under the pillows, and then all the pillows with and without shams and decorative throw pillows set on edge along the headboard. But I hate it. Hotels originated that look to (1) save money on the extra fabric needed for bedspreads that tuck under the pillows and then fold back over them, and (2) save the maids' time in making beds. Me, I've got the time to make my own bed, and I want my pillows covered so dust doesn't settle on them. But it's been impossible to find a real bedspread that isn't my grandmother's chenille. This one is perfect -- sophisticated design, soft enough, thick enough, and just the right color (sage, which is hard to find in the shade I like; this one is color-true to the picture).

We have a king size bed that sits pretty high. I had been looking for a an 18 inch bedskirt, and could not find one. So, I decided to go with a spread that would hang down the sides far enough. This one did the trick. It is generously sized and has a heavy enough weight to lay quite nicely. I have been buying from Overstock for many years, and have always been satisfied with their products, and their service.

I usually purchase king sized blankets and spreads for my queen bed because "double/queen" is never big enough. Even when I read the other comments on the size of this spread, I was tempted to get a king. The queen size spread really is queen size! And it's beautiful. The aqua color contrasts just the way I want with the color of my bedroom walls. I only wish there were matching pillows or shams. It was wrinkled and had that "packed in plastic" smell when I opened the boxl, but a quick run through the dryer with a damp dryer sheet did the trick. It looks great and although it doesn't go all the way to the floor, it more than covers the boxspring, which is really what I wanted.

It's difficult to locate bedspreads which are truly bedspreads. I've never used nor liked bedskirts as I find them "frilly". We live in a toy home which is furnished solely with Shaker furniture. These bedspreads fit the bill when it comes to simplicity. I absolutely LOVE these and have purchased both the sage and blue in queen. Neither my husband nor I tire of looking at them and as others have written, the bedspreads are incredibly easy to launder, as they maintain their shapes and hues. I have MUCH difficulty reading negative reviews .In all the years of use and laundering, I have NEVER had to clip a single thread. I purchased the sage several years ago and although the spread is in perfect shape, I purchased the blue in queen. My friends and family KNOW I am OCD, (neat freak), and I, too, appreciate the ease of making the bed.

One of the nicest spreads I have bought online, very ample, the right weight and nice stitching. I would buy this one again. I have others similar, and they wash well, I have not washed this one but I expect it will do fine.

I loved the quality however, my pets nails kept getting stuck and snagging it. Not the fault of the product! Loved it.

This is an ok bedspread. It's long enough to cover each side almost to the floor. Mine had a strange smell to it and I had to wash it several times before using it.

I have been looking for a new Quilted blanket for my queen bed. Had been looking every site for something I had hoped to find. I thought I had and ordered. My surprise I found a great looking one and with a great look and price. The color I choose was my second choice and finally ordered it.Came faster than expected and that was great. Opened .Kinda already didn't like the color too yellow. Was expecting cream or beige. Way, way too yellow. I tried it on the bed and was right! Too yellow. Am returning the item. Looking now how and will hope as fast as it got to me, surely will get back to the seller just as fast. Love OVERSTOCK!! Thank you!! Robert.

I'm very pleased with the purchase of this queensize bedspread. It fits my queen mattress perfectly, hanging over the sides so I don't need a bedskirt to hid the box spring. Mine does not hang to the floor quite as the photo on Overstock.com shows - which I think is perfect for my tastes. The cotton fabic is less than great quality, but the machine-quilt stitching is very nicely done. For the price, I couldn't be happier.

My favorite bedspread ever lite but warmish not overly hot. I would buy it again wish it came in so pretty prints and bright colors with white or cream background

My new favorites bedspreads. Lightweight and large enough for my bed. I now have two colors and will be adding another one soon.

This item was the wrong color and poor quality. I had to return it and would not purchase it again.

Nice heavy bedspread for winter. Washes up nicely also.
