The embroidery on the comforter set was the starting design for my entire bedroom, and it all goes together so well! But, as for the comforter set: The comforter itself seems to have some sort of synthetic down or cotton in it, and it can sometimes become displaced. It's not a huge noticeable issue, and doesn't appear lumpy on one part vs. the other when the bed is made, but I just wanted to put that out there. The material isn't the strongest, as the bed skirt easily ripped within the first week (with very little "tugging.") Beware if you have white sheets. The red coloring in the comforter will *likely come off on the white sheets (*of course, this was before I washed the comforter for the first time, so that could have very well caused the red to bleed onto my former white sheet set underneath). I use grey sheets now, instead of white, and they look great with the set. The comforter is warm in the winter and cool in the summer, and the large number of pillows this set comes with is really cool! Looks so classy when the bed is made and the pillows are all out in order. If your on the fence about this comforter set, I'd say go ahead and get it. The positives are much more numerous than any negatives... and I honestly believe you'll be very satisfied. I've had my set for about a year now... washed it about 4-5 times, and no color bleed or fading after washing. In fact, the stuffing in the comforter evened back out, and it fluffed right up with about 5 minutes in the drier (not even after a washing. I mean just throwing it in the drier before making the bed, to fluff up the comforter). I know you'll sleep soundly with this comforter set!
