The fabric is a lighter weight than we would have expected (material is a little on the thin side). The finish work and fill loft is good. Only complaint is the top of our box spring mattress is 16" above the floor, but the skirt is a 17" drop (not 15" as described), so it it lays about an inch of fabric on the floor. This is for a guest bedroom, so we will keep it. Overall, a pretty good value.
I shopped around online for a Comforter Set for my 17 year old daughter...she loved this one; and so did I. We ordered it and she was very happy with the design and the fact that it was reversible. I purchased all of the pillows and it added to the overall effect of her room. I'm about to order her another comforter set....waiting for her to decide which one she wants :)
The comforter is darker in reality than in the photos, but that is just a risk one takes when buying online. The comforter itself is not particularly soft. It is not a comforter that you will want to pull up around yourself at night. I roll it back and use blankets that are soft instead. The look in the photo isn't quite the way the comforter looks when all set up on the bed. The faux sequin pattern seen in the photos is not really noticeable, although my room is considerably smaller than the large, staged studio used to photograph these beds and bedding ensembles. The two most disappointing things about the purchase are that the comforter does not have a soft feel, and the overall look as far as color and pattern do not look like the photos. The value--for the amount I paid, it's worth keeping :)
