    • Natural white down fill is hypoallergenic
    • 10-inch box stitching keeps fill from sliding or bunching
    • Dry clean only

    Dimensions:
    • Twin: 62 inches wide x 86 inches long with 18 ounces of fill
    • Full/queen: 86 inches wide x 86 inches long with 25 ounces of fill
    • King: 102 inches wide x 86 inches long with 29 ounces of fill

Down and feather-filled products are packaged tightly during shipping. Upon receipt, remove this item from its packaging, fluff gently, and allow several hours for full loft recovery. In addition, products sealed in plastic packaging sometimes have a disagreeable scent because of concentrated natural fibers. A few hours of airing typically removes the odor.

We recommend that this item is fluffed at least once a week to maintain down distribution.

I read the reviews before I bought this and everyone said that it was very thin. I guess I didn't know how thin they were talking. This is the thinnest down comforter I've ever seen. Like, half an inch thick-MAYBE. However, I really like it. I put it on my bed right when we got it... I can't believe how warm it is! This paired with flannel sheets is more than warm enough I dont think I will being using a "winter down".

Perfect Price, Great product! Partner and i love it. We find it hard getting out of bed from being so darn comfortable with this on us! Being in South Florida I have been weary of buying one due to being afraid with the heat. This thing is great with the AC cool @ night like I like. Now I just need to find the right duvet covers! :) Shipping took a bit but I think because it came from CA.

You have to give this blanket time to puffy up. When it first arrived I was very disappointed with how thin it was, it looked like 2 thin sheets. After 3 days it puffed up and it¿s very warm. It is not as puffy as it looks in the picture. This is a great down blanket and you can¿t beat the price!

Very saftisfied with the quality for the price I paid! My husband says it's perfect, he tends to get very warm as he sleeps, and this comforter is the perfect temp for him. I could use a little bit more warmth, so I add a light blanket to my side. Come summer, though, this will be the only comforter on the bed. We live in a maritime climate, so the warmest night here would be 60 degrees. The comforter covers the mattress well, if you're looking for a king that covers the box base also, choose another of larger dimensions. If a down comforter of good quality that isn't overly warm is what you're looking for, this is the one.

      Verified Purchase

I've been needing a new comforter for a while now, so I decided to buy one from overstock since the prices are always so reasonable. A few of the reviews said that this was more of a "down blanket" since it wasn't fluffy enough, and when it first came in the mail. i admit it was a little anticlimactic. BUT, I tossed it in the dryer with a few tennis balls for 15 minutes and it came out soft and huge and fluffy. LOVE IT. It's pretty, too. Very elegant looking and perfect by itself with a few throws draped over the end. Very warm, not too heavy, and i haven't noticed any down leaking as of yet. VERY happy with this comforter.

    Questions & Answers

    • Q:

"I am looking for a very thin (virtually no loft) lightweight down comforter for all-season use (but especially the hot summer months). I would also prefer a cotton/sateen outer shell. Does this comforter make much noise with movement? Would you recommend it? "

      • A:

I find this too warm for Texas summers. It does not make noise, however I use a cotton duvet cover over it. I love mine for cooler weather, 70 and below at night.

    • Q:

"Will the king version of this comforter fit best in a king size duvet? Others have mentioned using a queen size duvet but the dimensions of a queen size duvet are smaller than this king comforter."

      • A:

The king is approximately 102 inches x 86 inches and should fit a standard king duvet.

    • Q:

"Is this product still made in the USA and the same as described three years ago?"

    • Q:

"What is the fill power rating?"

      • A:

Hello Lin, the twin has 18 ounces of fill, the full/queen has 25 ounces of fill, the king has 29 ounces of fill. Thanks for shopping with us.

    • Q:

      "Is this comforter machine washable?"

      • A:

Hello jazzman1111, no, this will require dry cleaning for best results. Thank you for shopping with Overstock!

      • A:

I've had mine for three years now. I use it as a summer comforter and I abuse the heck out of it. Because it was so cheap I just throw it in the wash with some bleach to clean it up. Tennis balls in the dryer on a lower heat and some manual turning during drying, what do I care right? It takes it and keeps on ticking.

    • Q:

      "Does this duvet have fasteners?"

      • A:

Hello Laura, thank you for shopping with us. The comforter does not have fasteners according to reviews. Have a nice day.

    • Q:

"The description says this must be dry cleaned. I've seen other down comforters that are machine wash & dry....is this possible for this one?"

      • A:

Hello durangoej, this is dry clean only. Thanks for shopping with us!

      • A:

Ive owned mine for a few years and wash and dry it at home. Its fine:)

    • Q:

"I learned a long time ago not to buy "full/queen" sheets, quilts, or comforters for my queen-size bed--it's a good deal for people with full, a bad deal for people with queen. Often full/queen is just a bad fit for queen. Overstock, are all of your down comforters listed as "full/queen?" I can't seen to find one with the' full' qualification,"

      • A:

Hello billbeamerbuff, we do apologize, we are not currently in stock with a down comforter listed for a Full size only. Thank you for shopping with us.

    • Q:

      "What size is the king?"

      • A:

Hello Woodshole. King is approximately: 102 inches x 86 inches with 29 ounces of fill. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

    • Q:

"what dimensions is the queen sized comforter"

      • A:

Hello snovalleygirl, the full/queen is approximately 86" inches x 86" inches. Please let us know if you have additional questions. Thanks for shopping with us.

    • Q:

"Is this duck down or goose down? The "Materials" listed are "cotton, down, feathers". Is this true? Are there also feathers? Typically feathers are not considered "down"."

      • A:

Hello heatherm9, this is filled with white down. Thanks for shopping with us!

    • Q:

"This sounds like something I'd be interested in - however I'm done with baffle boxes!! This says 10 inch box stitch construction - is this different than baffle box? If so, how? Also, in reading the questions, it states it's filled with down, cotton?, and feather fiber? What is feather fiber? And is it filled with cotton or constructed of cotton?"

      • A:

Hello chillatiger, Box stitch means that the fabric is sewn on all 4 sides of the actual box on the comforter to keep the down fill enclosed and not able to shift, but makes the loft (height) of the fluffiness more limited (as it is like pillows sewn together, versus baffle box which has a fabric extended on all sides so there is more loft (or height) to the comforter. There is no feather fiber and the fabric is 100% cotton. Have a great day.

    • Q:

"Is this comforter a box stitch?"

      • A:

Hello philc13, thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, the information you have requested is currently unavailable. You will receive an email notification once an answer is posted. Have a great day.

    • Q:

"I see conflicting info in the answers below, as well as the product details and overview of this product. Is it 233 or 240 thread count. What is the exact current fill content and totatl weight and fill weight and country of origin of the current queen size product? Thank you."

      • A:

Hello BKB, i am sorry for the confusion all descriptive material on this item should read 240tc, we will work on updating this as soon as possible. Have a great day!

    • Q:

"Why did you choose this product?"

      • A:

I have one very similar to this one that I purchased from Overstock and I am so pleased with it. We really do use ours all season long. I am now purchasing one for my daughter as she gets ready to get married soon!

      • A:

I wanted a light weight all season comforter that had square construction so the down would not bunch to one side. This was it! Also well reviewed.

our current comforter is so heavy now that the weather is getting warm, but we need to have some kind of light weight covering, so i am hoping this will be light enough.

      • A:

I like these because of the small 10" baffles, down stays in place better.

      • A:

made in US (less likely that the down was harvested from live animals) and lightweight for summer.

"What are the dimensions of the king size comforter?"

      • A:

Thank you for contacting us, as8510. King size dimensions are approximately: 102 inches x 86 inches with 29 ounces of fill. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Hello ultra353, we did not find any reviews regarding shedding. Out of 421 reviews, it has a 4.4 star rating. We welcome additional information from our reviewers. Thank you for shopping with us.

    • Q:

"what is the fill power of the down. I see it states 29 oz. But I understand fill power to be in the hundreds."

      • A:

Hi 75donna, thank you for your inquiry. I attached below the information you requested. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Twin: 62 inches x 86 inches with 18 ounces of fill Full/queen: 86 inches x 86 inches with 25 ounces of fill King: 102 inches x 86 inches with 29 ounces of fill The comforter is at least 75% down cluster, the other 25% is down fiber, feather fiber and feathers. It is not 100% Down cluster.

      • A:

I agree that the answer, 29 oz, makes no sense at all. It's a pretty flat comforter. It does fluff up after a while, but hardly fluffy and looks nothing like the picture. I was very disappointed at first but after using it for a few weeks as an additional comforter I am glad I kept it. It will work nicely as a very light and comfortable duvet in the warmer months and for now (winter) it adds just the right warmth as an additional layer on the bed. Not puffy, but not totally flat. A decent comforter for the price. A good cover helps too, although there is extra room because of the low loft.

    • Q:

"The answer you provided makes absolutely no sense. is this comforter treated with CHEMICAL flame retardants and antimicrobial agents or not?"

      • A:

NO chemical smell; it's ready to go without airing or fluffing.

      • A:

Hello cristin888, I'm sorry about the last answer. The manufacturer does a Flammability test, usually their fabric meets Class 1. The comforter doesn't have antimicrobial agents, when we say hypoallergenic, we mean the clearness of the down material, we sent the down material to lab for testing, and the test result of the cleanness can meet the hypoallergenic standard. Have a great day!

    • Q:

"Is the fill in this comforter (down fiber, feather fiber, feathers) treated with any chemicals or antimicrobial agents? What makes it "hypoallergenic"?"

      • A:

Hello cristin888, The Classic 240 Thread Count Light-weight All-season White Down Comforter is breathable and flame retardant, fill made of white duck down, hypoallergenic to prevent mites and dander from reaching your bedding in the first place.
