Carbon Loft Sterling Navy/ Green Down Alternative Comforter Mini Set

This set was purchased for my second guest room. The colors pictured are true to those of the actual set.. The feel of the fabric is quite soft and comfortable. It is lightweight. Pay attention to the dimensions of the comforter to be sure you will have adequate width to cover your mattress sides. I have not washed it yet but it appears to be well made. I am happy with the purchase and consider it to be a good value.

this only measures 87 inch long and 63 inches wide i was looking for a XL for a collage dorm seem ok but not using yet to see if really fits

I decided to do away with traditional sheets, and try something I experienced, and remembered, kind of while camping, years ago...the feel of a really good sleeping bag, if it could only give me the support of a great mattress/box-spring with that 'sleeping bag', warm and silky feel. For my current daily ritual, I have a queen size bed, just me, one body...so instead of a sheet, I thought about the sleeping bag deal, and bought this king size comforter instead of a sheet...fitment was a big concern...would it come loose during the night, etc, etc, etc. So I checked the sizes available, and took a shot. I bought a king-size for a queen as sheet fitment. I installed the comforter/sheet on the bed...pretty good fit, not the absolute best, but proved tolerable to tossing and turning 1 body during the night, meaning it didn't get all scrunched up and look like it had a problem after a nights sleep, that you had to remake the sheet part of the bed...couple minor 2 second adjustments, looked ok...this comforter was tucked in one end long ways (down at the feet-end), and just at the end of the mattress head-end, laying even, not tucked in at all...the sides were not tucked in, but lapped over about 6-7 inches or so. The first nights sleep comfort under your body is unbelievable. Like silk on your butt and back...so to continue...I also placed a really good electrically heated mattress pad under this 'sheet/comforter' for the coming winter...this may have added to the unbelievable softness of this 'new type' sheet...I live in the Bay Area (CA), so no big deal on that...I then covered the bed with the ***** ***** 'plaid red down' alternative comforter, and wah/lah...I feel like a king in this overall wonderful softness, above me and below, that surrounds me when I crash at the end of the day. I actually look forward to getting into bed...but one thing...I also have a great box-spring/mattress base for this installation. If you live in hot climates, 75% of the year, then maybe you need to throttle back on my suggestions somewhat...these comforters are rated at medium. My living climate, most of the year is @ 65 degrees day, 45-55 night...so it sometimes a little warm during the summer months, but I have a fan, so that levels things out...I would suggest a lesser top-warming comforter with this combination I have laid out for Florida, Texas, etc...but the feel of the fabrics is 'over-the-top'...try this combo, in some way...you will be elevated over basic linen sheets from day one, and after you try what I have tried, you will understand how I can jump up and down about this discovery, at least for me...let me know your about your experiences...I wish the sizes for the sheet/comforter were like a CAL King, applied to a Queen size, then I could probably tuck the thing in like a regular sheet...I love going to sleep with this combo... Quality so far is excellent, no problems after 1 weeks sleep...but the feel is incredible...give it a shot...

For the size this is a great buy. It fits my queen bed great. My mattress is pretty thick and my queen cover didn't cover the whole bed, it left the foundation visible. Fits great in my washing machine and dryer. The only drawback for some, might be that it isn't a heavy cover. You can't find this size of comforter in any store for the price.

I bought this for my 18 years old son. He loved it, it is comfortable and light. Also, he likes the fact that when making his bed, the comforter makes a good job hiding his messy sheets. In theory he doesn't make his bed, he just threw the comforter over the sheets, and you never realized the mess he has underneath.

The feel of this comforter isn't the highest quality but the look is. It's bright, well made, and the pattern is exactly that of a twin comforter I had previously for my son's room that was Ralph Lauren and 4x the price.

I bought twin comforters. The shams and comforters look great on the beds. I'm happy with the purchase.

Great Comforter Set! We we purchased two of these comforter sets.

Comforters are difficult for me to find, especially one that is not frilly or is not in a bed-in-a-bag style. I really only want the comforter but the shams do look nice. This set is really soft, light and warm enough for my teenaged son who is always too warm, but I keep the heat low at night in winter so he needs something to keep him warm. The colors are our personal favorite, navy and hunter green, and is perfect for a boy, but fine for a girl who doesn't require pink. It arrived quickly and the price was right. Love it. Makes the room look very cozy.

Big enough and warm enough. I was worried about the size for a "king" size bed. Not to worry. Covers my wife, the two black labs, and I comfortably. Verry happy with my purchase and the overall quality of the comforter and cases.

The vibrant color on this comforter was a wonderful surprise. Both sides of this reversible gem will be used. It is light weight but still the down alternative keeps us very cozy. I would have expected to pay twice as much for a product of this quality.

I am loving this comforter. It is so warm and cozy. It looked great with my Christmas decorations and still works for the rest of the winter. I had a flannel comforter when I was a teen and have looked for a long time for something I liked as well as that one. I am so glad I found this comforter, it is all I wanted and more. My power went out during a heavy snow storm, after dark, and I thought I would have to bundle up and add more blankets but I was quite comfortable in my pajama pants, short sleeve shirt, sheet, and this comforter.

It's a cute pattern, but it kind of feels cheap. I won't return them (bought two) b/.c they are in a basement bedroom, but they weren't quite the quality I would have wanted.

I bought this set for my daughter. She says that it is warm and soft. It has survived the washing machine and dryer with no damages. I would recommend this comforter set.
