This is not as substantial as I would have thought. The material wrinkles easily and quality of the product is average. The construction is fair. Color is a light beige with a grayish undertone. Not worth the price.

  • Good Quality for the Price

I have been looking for a queen comforter set in a muted nutural style/color cotton. I bought this at a major discount store for half what it goes for retail, but even at retail this is a good set for the price. Most comforters in this price range are much too small for my mattress, so at 92" x 96" it cleared the first requirement. It has a cotton/poly blend cover which is not as soft as I'm used to, but since I use a sheet as well as a down alternative blanket under it, it's tolerable. The thickness and loft are good but it does crease where I turn it down at night (sort of as linen does)...my only real complaint. I paired it with cream color euro shams, a long cream color rectangle toss pillow and fluffy cream throw and it looks very nice put together. The reverse is the solid light khaki on the front of the comforter. Be prepared to iron or steam before putting it on the bed. Candice Olson is my favorite designer and I counted on her not putting her name to anything that wasn't good quality. I was right. My only real complaint is I wish it had a little better quality 100% cotton cover.
