Canadian Down & Feather Company White Goose Feather Comforter

Very, very pleased with this purchase. I own an expensive down comforter for my bed, and I wanted natural fill for my son's bed without spending quite as much money. The quality of this comforter is excellent. The fabric his heavy and sturdy, the construction is excellent, and I'm expecting the feathers will stay inside (we also use a duvet cover). Being filled with feathers rather than down, it is a bit "crunchier" than a down comforter would be, but I think this is definitely a great compromise if you can't spend the extra on down. It comes in a relatively small box, but puffs up very nicely. It's heavier than expected, which is a plus in my book. My only quibble is that it does not come with duvet loops on the corners to tie the duvet cover on. Not a big deal, though--I sewed them on myself in about 10 minutes.

We purchased 5 twins for guest rooms. These are not down, but still feel very nice for the price and feathers content, very good loft and distribution of the feathers, very few hard feathers, and none that poke through the duvet cover. Good heat retention...medium, not summer weight, but not a heavy winter weight either. I would use a blanket under in winter and with AC on, just fine in summer. Might be a bit warm in summer without ac...but then what isn't most places? They arrive very flat in the package, and require fluffing with a dryer ball or tennis ball or two in the dryer before use, or you will not be happy with them. Best results for us, were a light steam setting and then dry with the dryer ball (do not overload, just one at a time). If you don't have steam, a light spritz with water before placing in the dryer would likely do the same thing. Very happy with the purchase.

This item is stiff and loud. Yes, I am talking about this Canadian Down & Feather Company White Goose Feather Comforter. My husband laughed and asked if it was made out of a plastic blend. There is also a lot of dark filling in with the white that you can see through the fabric.

This Canadian Down is the most comfortable comforter I have owned. The product is warm and inviting and it stands up to my inspection of the the thread count. I would highly recommend this product if your looking for an inexpensive comforter that keeps you warm during the cold winter nights.

The comforter was exactly what I was looking for as far as weight and warmth. It is thin but provides ample warmth during the winter months and we had some cold nights recently. Well made and odorless which I know can be a factor for goose feather comforters.

The white goose feather comforter is great! Very warm in the winter. I use it in the summer too because I like something over me and this doesn't make me too hot. The feathers and the air inside it make it very versatile.

Very light thought it would be with more down

It wasn't as soft as I expected and was very noisy on the bed. I am returning the item.

These products are made in China!!! Company should state that! Canadian down & Feather company name is misleading!

Very low quality. Noisy. Cheap. low feather count and rather 'twiggy'

Ordered this Canadian Down and Feather and It is perfect.. and no smell when I took it out of the bag... It is perfect and light but not too light... In Texas it never gets cold... so this will work out as needed. !!!

It just feels a bit stiff and the feathers don’t feel like white goose down. But it will do for my daughter. Not looking for anything fancy. For the price I’m satisfied with it.

Good quality for the price!

I like it up to a point; balanced weight and decent insulation. However, it’s noisy and it feels like surface would be (hard) plastic. It might break with the time, washing is not an option, of course. For price paid, it looks like a decent value but only time will prove or disprove that.

I just switched out my duvet cover and was reminded of where the comforter came from and thought of how much I love it! I only wish I would have purchased them for all of our beds. It's a very nice weight and doesn't shed like the other ones we have had.

This was an excellent find for my daughter entering college. We purchased this for her dorm room it works perfect with the duvet set she had purchased. Great quality for the price
