    I purchased 3 of these blankets, 1 for myself and the other two for family members. I had to return 1 blanket that stopped working all together within 1 month. The replacement and the other two that I purchased are working...sorta! The blankets are soft, but the heat is not distributed evenly. The heat is mostly on the trim of the blanket and not throughout. Look for another brand.

    "Not working and heating properly. How do I exchange??????"

      Call Customer Care at 800-843-2446. Overstock will exchange it for you and even email you a free, prepaid return label.

    "I got this blanket in December 2015; Recently my blanket is showing "E" on the controller. I have tried unplugging and replugging it and it still shows E on the controller."

      Unplug it from the wall and blanket. Then plug back into blanket and then the wall. If it was plugged into the wall and you unplugged from blanket then plugged back in, it will give you the "E"...error.

  • Q:

    "When I first used this product, it just give off much heat. What's wrong with it?"

    • A:

      Seems to take a while to warm up and it uses zone thermostats so sometimes if the blanket is folded over on itself, it may cool down to compensate. Keep it as flat, yet normal as possible. works quite nicely after a while and actually gets nice and almost hot.

      I use a heavier blanket on top of the electric one to conceal the warmth. Works great. I've even washed it in the Wasing Machine, hang dry & still works very nicely. I did have another electric blanket someone bought me from a different store & it sated having problems @ the electrical connection, that's why I bought this one to replace it. So far, so good. Hope this helps.

      I had the same problem. It does not heat evenly. Some areas of the blanket get quite warm, other areas do not get warm at all. Do not recommend this product.

      I don't know about your question. But I just thought I would tell you that the material around the wires puckers up when you try to smooth out the blanket. Very unattractive.

      Overstock customer care is where I would ask this. My blanket works great, but does pucker like the other customers have said. Puckering, slipping and other characteristics of microfiber would make me avoid microfiber in future.

      Hello DQbabe, thank you for shopping with us. This is not a low voltage blanket; it runs on a 150 volt peak and a 95 volt average. The problem with “low voltage” blankets is that they are also low heat, which we consider counter-productive in a heated blanket. When used at the lower temperature settings, our blanket will draw less voltage and provide less heat, much like the “low voltage” heated blanket in the market. I hope this helps.

If this blanket is soft heat, please send one that heats immediately.     "I bought 2 blankets this past December. One of My blankets control is flashing with an E. I have tried unplugging it and disconnecting the chord from the blanket. Nothing works. What should I do?"

      This blanket controller flashes an E after you turn it off and immediately turn it on again. You have to wait for 10 minutes after turning it off before it resets and you can turn it on again. It is a ridiculous design. It is so easy to mistakenly turn it off and then you have to sit there and wait 10 minutes before you can turn it on again and go to sleep. I do NOT recommend this product!

      IF THIS IS THE FIRST TIME YOU'VE ATTEMPTED TO USE THE BLANKET, YOU WOULD RECEIVE AN ERROR MESSAGE, IF THE BLANKET WERE NOT SET UP PROPERLY. UNPLUG BLANKET FROM THE WALL AND FROM THE END OF THE BLANKET. REVERSE THE WAY YOU INITIALLY SET AND PLUGGED THE BLANKET. IF REVERSING THE WAY YOU SET UP THE BLANKET DOES NOT WORK, SIMPLY TURN OFF THE BLANKET FROM THE CONTROL SETTINGS, WAIT ONE MINUTE AND TURN BLANKET BACK TO WHAT SETTING YOU WISH. I'VE HAD THE ELECTRIC BLANKET FOR YEARS AND SEVERAL TIMES I DID RECEIVE THE E MESSAGE AS I KEPT SETTING UP THE BLANKET INCORRECTLY! HOPE THIS WORKS , IT DID FOR US.
