I live in Florida and while I like the traditional terry cloth robes they are usually too heavy and warm. This robe is just the right weight - heavier than a t-shirt but not as heavy as a sweat shirt. Very nice quality cotton, I like that the tie is attached at the back so it doesn't get lost in the laundry. It is generously sized, and would probably fit an average adult man, but works fine as unisex. It might be too large for a very small woman. Very pleased with my purchase.
These are not your thick, fuzzy bath mats. They are more like towels. However they absorb the water much better than the mats I had in there previously that were made of some synthetic material. I bought them because I was tired of the rubber backing coming off and water beading up on the top fibers. I wanted something practical.
These robes (I ordered for two daughters) were very reasonably priced for sturdy, all-cotton bathrobes. Like a lot of the other reviewers, I've tried the "micro-fiber" and "micro-fleece" robes and the synthetic in them starts to show wear after a few washings even if you do all of the inconvenient "suggestions" about drying on low and without fabric softener. These robes look like they will last and they are warm and plush enough to feel good.
The last synthetic fiber microplush robe I had was a pretty pattern but felt kind of like rough plastic. This one really is plush, and is super comfortable and soft. It is also true to size. I don't know about the Touch of Class name, I think for that you'd need an Egyptian cotton hotel robe - but this one does cozy very well.
