These towels are so soft and sturdy, and I love the sage color. I've never owned Egyptian cotton before and the comparison with my usual towels is very distinct. If you hang them side by side, you can see the difference, but the real proof is in touching them. Washed in the same detergent and fabric softener, these towels are like silk, yet absorbent. You will absolutely love the feel.
These towels are nice but the the bath towels are laughable in size. The so-called bath sheets are actually bath towels, and the bath towels are barely bigger than hand towels. It's a good idea to really investigate the measurements of towels, which I didn't do carefully enough.
I'd read so many reviews about Turkish & Egyptian towels not standing up to the washer that I was hesitant to spend the money. However, upon receiving these, I read that they require use of the Delicate cycle. Following instructions my towels washed up fluffy with no problem. I suspect many people are using the cotton or Regular cycle as they would with ordinary towels and that might be causing the fraying problems.
